Four days ago
Jennie was a little bit angry at you for rejecting Hoseok.
"Why did you do it?!"
Okay...maybe more than a little bit.
"He asked you to go to prom with him, managed to do it in the best way possible, according to you, and yet you still rejected him!!! WHY?!"
"It will bring too much attention our way Jennie...I'm not gonna do it. You know how it works...ships..."
"...in harbor are safe...blah, blah, blah!!!" she continued for me and sighed, before glaring over at Hyolin and her minions.
"It's all because of that bitch...are you really that scared of her?" Jennie asked and you didn't want to admit it but you were.
Hyolin was the queen of the school and what's 'her's' is off limits for everyone else. Meaning, no matter who you are, Hoseok was not someone you are allowed to be around or talk too.
You walked past her and out of no where Jennie stood in front of Hyolin herself and crossed her arms.
"Hi Hyolin..."
"Umm...do I know you?" she asked and Jennie smiled "No...but you know Y/N over there, my best friend that you have been bitching about to everyone else." she pointed at you and you begged for the ground to swallow you whole, because this was too much now.
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about you being an asshole to not just Y/N, but every person in this school that dared to come close to 'your property'. So now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go and ignore everything you did up till now, and hope that you will change for the better and not mess with my friends." Jennie held her chin up high and walked back to you while the crowd around you laughed and whispered something to each other.
Two days ago
You were in the library when someone pulled you into one of the rows of shelves.
"What the...Hoseok?"
"I'm asking you again Y/N...will you go to prom with me?" he smiled and you sighed "Hoseok haven't we settled this already, I don't..."
"Please?" he cut you off, using his puppy face to get a 'Yes' out of you.
"Hoseok..." you started and looked into his eyes as he pouted "Fine..." you rolled your eyes before you felt him pulling you in for a hug.
Your cheeks heated up as the smell of his cologne invaded your senses and you nuzzled into his chest, while your arms wrapped around his waist.
"I've been waiting for that answer for a while..." he said and you chuckled.
"Promise you won't leave me hanging?" he asked and you hesitated as you spoke "I-I won't."
"Pinky promise?" he said and you laughed at his childish act.
"Promise." you hooked your finger onto his and smiled.
"I'll pick you up at seven on Friday." he said and ran off leaving you behind to melt from your own feelings.
Earlier today
Just like he said he was in front of your house at exactly 7 PM with his bike.
You walked out and his eyes looked over your blue dress that ended a little above your knees.
He looked back at you and smiled when he saw saw you wearing make up for the first time.
"You look beautiful." he said and you blushed "Thanks...and you look...wow..." and that was exactly how you describe Jung Hoseok in a suite and on a bike...just wow.
He laughed before passing you your helmet and helping you get up on the bike.
"Not really lady like to get on a bike in a dress..." you said and he smiled "Come on...we look awesome on a bike." he argued and you nodded before he once again wrapped your arms around his waist, because you were too shy to do so yourself.
"We do..." you whispered before driving off to your school.
You came there and the first person you met was Jennie.
She was alone because the original plan was for the two of you to go, but Hoseok said she should join you.
"Come on...the more the merrier. And besides...I wanna introduce you to someone Jennie." he said and her ears perked up at that.
"Who? Who?!" she asked and Hoseok walked us over to the boys.
"Jimin! Look what the cat dragged in!" Namjoon shouted as soon as Hoseok and the two girls came into view.
When Jimin saw Jennie he choked on his drink and turned to Jungkook.
"Kookie...dude, how do I look?" he hissed and Jungkook and Taehyung gave him a thumbs up before he turned back around and smiled at Jennie.
"Well hi there...I'm Jimin."
"Uhh...Jennie...nice to meet you." she said politely while the two younger boys laughed behind Jimin, making their friend blush furiously.
"Wanna go dance?" Hoseok shouted to you over the loud music and you nodded.
After you were both tired of dancing Hoseok disappeared somewhere and you were left to chat with the boys.
"Hey guys, I'll be right back!" you shouted and they gave you a small thumbs up.
Jimin was keeping Jennie entertained and you smiled at her while you went over to look for Hoseok in the crowd.
You went to a more quiet area and after a few minutes of looking for him, your eyes settled on two figures in the dim lights. At first the taller figure was pulling away, slightly pushing away the other one, before the guy was pulled down in a kiss.
The music suddenly stopped and the blue lights lit up the whole room and your heart broke when you saw that the two figures were Hoseok and Hyolin.
Your eyes were wide open, staring at them in disbelief as Hoseok pulled away and looked at you.
"Y/N I swear I didn't want this!" he shouted as he chased after you, pushing himself through the crowd.
You took deep breaths as you ran out in front of the school trying to hold your tears back.
"Y/N I..." he began as he ran out in the chilly air of the night. "No Hoseok, let me breath for a second!" you shouted, surprising him.
After a few minutes you calmed down and looked over at him.
"Look at me...I'm all dressed up, with my make up looking perfect...well it was till now, but listen..." you took a deep breath "I did all this for you...I kept up with Hyolin's bullying just so I could stay close to you, I got into a whole bunch of arguments with Jennie because I was always feeling like shit."
"I didn't..." he began and I cut him off again "I'm not done..." you hissed.
"I got out of my comfort zone because of you..." you said and he took a step towards you.
"Ships in harbor are safe...you should have just left me alone and keep me away from your chaotic lifestyle." you cried as he reached out and whipped your tears away while smiling.
"Ships in harbor are safe, but that's not what ships are meant for..." he said and hugged you.
"She kissed me. We were fighting before that because I really don't want anything to do with her anymore." he said and you clung onto him as if your life depended on it.
"Are you okay now?" he asked as his hands ran up and down your back that was now covered with his jacket. You nodded against his chest.
You've been outside for what seemed like an hour and it was getting colder and colder by the second.
"Can we go back in now?" he asked and you looked over at your school and back up at him.
"O-okay..." you stuttered and he held both your cheeks before leaning down and kissing you on the forehead.
"It's gonna be okay...I won't leave your side now...besides...it's time for you to steal the night away." he whispered and you raised an eyebrow at him "What do you mean?"
"You'll see..."
When you went back in they were announcing who's prom king and queen and of course the king was Hoseok.
You cheered for him and a few seconds later you were called up as the prom queen. Well if the stuff that happened till now were out of your comfort zone, this one was too far out of it.
"Go up Y/N!!!" you heard Jennie shout behind you before Jimin pulled her towards him and sneaked a short kiss on her.
You smiled and walked up on the stage and held onto Hoseoks arm as they placed the crown on your head.
"Well it's time for the king and queen to have their dance." the DJ said and Hoseok pulled you to the center of the dance floor to dance.
"What did you do?!" you hissed at him and he smiled "What did I do?"
"How did I become the queen?"
"I may have went from student to student begging them to vote for you...didn't know it would work tho..." he said and you hit his chest.
"You idiot!" you laughed and kept dancing before looking at him.
"So...how's it like when the ship is sailing?" he asked and you smiled "It's unusual...but nice."
"I knew you would love it." he said before leaning down to kiss you.
Yep...it's really, really nice.
So this was supposed to be in one story but then I realized that its 3000+ words long lol...so yea, you got too.
