Chapter 56

" Good Morning. " He said, rolling out of bed.

" Good morning. " I answered.

" I'm taking you shopping today. "

I nodded, " That sounds great. " I said, trying to forget about last night...

His lips crashed into mine, roughly. He was kissing me like he couldn't get enough.

" I want you. " he breathed heavily.

I didn't know what to do. I just kept kissing him.

" Now. " He said demanding.

I can't do this. I want to, i guess. But.

" Chase, " I whispered.

" Shh. " He answered.

He pulled the top over my head and threw it on the floor.

Do i want this?

Once he fully undressed me. He took over control. He was agressive, and i couldn't help but moan out loud.

" Do you have one? " I asked.

He nodded.

" Kiss me. " He demanded.

I brought my lips to his, trying to make up my mind.

Justin's with someone else now, it's okay. Do it Jess. I told myself.

I nodded. " Ok. "

He brought himself onto me kissed me once more. " I love you. "

I let him take over me. I let him have full control.

I shook the thought from my mind, i didn't like it as much as i probably should have. He doesn't compare to Justin, i told myself.


After completing the morning routine, i cooked us some breakfast.

" There's room service for a reason you know. " He joked.

" But i wanted to cook for you this time."

He laughed.

" You look nice today. " He complimented.

" Thanks. " I smiled, kissing him on the cheek.

" You ready to go now? " He asked, finishing the dishes.

I nodded and put my coat on, feeling extremely uncomfortable. It's horrible. I cannot get Justin out of my mind, I feel guilty. I should be feeling guilty doing this to Chase, but it's the other way around. I feel guilty being with Chase and doing this to Justin.

But he found someone else. The annoying voice in my head reminded me.

I sighed at the thought of the little possibility that i may not have another chance with Justin. I can't go running back to him, like all the other times. He's moving on from me.

" Jess? " He asked.

" Yeah? " I asked, snapping out of my thoughts.

" What's wrong? "

" Nothing! "

" You've been acting weird lately. " He said. " It's like you don't even want to be here. "

" No? That's not true. " I said, trying to sound as honest as possible.

" It just doesn't seem like you're happy." He said tightening his jaw.

" I am happy. " I lied.

" Alright, i love you. " He said.

I wasn't sure if i should answer or not.

" I love you? " He repeated.

" I love you too. " My heart burned with guilt, stop saying things you don't mean Jess. I said to myself.

But last night? I took a deep breath and tried to focus on the beautiful city in front of me.

" I'm gonna grab a coffee, do you want one? " He asked, stepping out of the car.

" Yeah, sure. "

He shut the door and i looked out the window at the long line up for coffee.

I turned up the radio in the car and leaned my head on the back of the seat.
My phone vibrated in my lap, and i jumped to answer it thinking it might be Ms. McCormack calling about Isabella.

" Hello? " I answered, trying to cover up the anxiety in my voice.

" Hey. " Justin's familiar voice said through the phone.

" Justin? " I said, surprised at how he was calling.

" Yeah, it's me. " He said, laughing a little.

" What, is there something wrong? " I asked.

" No, nothing wrong. "

" Oh, why are you calling? " I said not meaning to be rude.

" I'm here. "

What? He's where?

" You're where? " I asked, double checking to make sure Chase was still inside the coffee shop.

" I'm here, i'm in New York. "

" What? Justin, why? " I asked surprised.

" Because, i missed you. "

" But you have someone el- "

" Look, meet me tonight at Central Park, 7 oclock. I'll explain everything. "

My mind is spinning, what is he doing? He's here?

" Alright, okay. " I answered. " I'll see you then! " I said, smiling uncontrollably.

" Okay, " He said sounding relieved, "I'll see you then. "

I smiled and hung up the phone, re thinking what he said. He chased me here? Is he here with her? Will she be there tonight? I had so many questions, he'll explain tonight, i reminded myself.

Chase returned and handed me my coffee.

" Thanks. " I said, trying to avoid eye contact with him.
