Today was mine & Ace's last day together. My family & I are moving away to All Blue, mainly because my Father is starting work up there.
I don't want to leave the Grand line behind. It means that I'll leave behind all of the friends that I've made here.....
And more importantly, I'll leave behind Ace.
Ace & I, we've been close friends ever since we were in the same daycare. We met when I stole his play dough & then he chopped a piece of my hair off. We got in trouble of course, but we just...clicked I guess.
And ever since then, we've been inseparable.
"So what do you want to do (Y/N)-chan?"Ace asked
I grinned."We should prank your brothers!"
Ace grinned mischievously."Lets do it."
We got the stuff that we needed & it was all set up. Sneaking in & out was easy since Ace had a key to his house. We knocked on both of their doors & hid inside a vase that was big enough for both of us to fit in there.
"Here they come!"I whisper
Sabo & Luffy opened the door, only to have a pie land on their heads. And what made it worse, was that Luffy started chasing after Sabo, because Luffy thought that Sabo had turned into a pie.
"WAIT!"Sabo yelled from their lounge
"What Mr Pie?"Luffy asked
I swear I heard Sabo roll his eyes."We gotta find Ace & (Y/N)-chan! They're the only ones who can pranks us like this!"Sabo says
"Eh? Sabo you were Mr Pie?!"
"No Baka!-"
Ace & I snuck out of his house & ran over to the meadow fields. We started to laugh our butts off because of Luffy.
"Awww you're brothers are so cute!"I coo
Ace pouts angrily."And I'm not?"
I laughed."No Ace, you're handsome!"
Ace grinned at me."Alright! Then lets make a promise!"
I tilt my head in confusion."A promise for what?"
"(Y/N)-chan! If you do come back to the Grand line, you've gotta promise me that we'll be boyfriend & girlfriend! And then when we finish school, we'll get married!"Ace says
"Oh! And when we do become bf & gf we'll kiss!"I add
Ace grinned wider."Yeah! Do you swear?"
"Yeah I swear!"
*6 years later*
(Y/N) pov
That was when we were 10. And ever since I had moved away, I kept on thinking of that promise. Almost every night that day would replay in my head.
After a while here in All Blue, I realized how much Ace meant to me. I realize now that I was in love, but I guess I was still too young to understand what love meant.
And now here I am, back in the Grand line for High school, ready for Level 1 exams.
"Be good okay? If anything goes wrong-"
"I'll be fine! Mum I can kick ass anyway, so no man can touch me!"I say with a grin
Mum sighed at me."Alright, I'll see you after."
"See you after."
With a kiss on the cheek, I was sent inside the High school.
Ace pov
"First day of being senior."I say with a sigh
"Honestly Ace you gotta stop saying that over & over."Sabo sighs
"I know! But...it still hasn't sunk in."I say
"Then make it sink faster. Come on just focus on the girls that are here! There's so many cute ones this year."Sabo says
'But they're not (Y/N)....nowhere near her level.'
Sabo noticed me look around."Look I know you're still mopey about (Y/N), but you gotta get over her Ace. She won't come back, ever."
I sighed."Whatever you say."
(Y/N) pov
I found my way to my class, and began to look around for a seat. There was one left, and that was at the very back of the class by the window.
'Cool, at least I got a window seat.'
I searched through my bag for my (F/C) earphones & plugged them into my phone. I scrolled through my music playlist & clicked on the Nikki Minaj playlist, Feelin myself playing through my earphones

Sighing, I clicked pause on my iPhone 6 & walked up to the front, one earphone in one ear, and one on my shoulder.
I stood up the front with my Levi Ackerman face on, not wanting to be at the front.
"Class, this is (L/N) (Y/N). I want you all to be good to her, and make her feel like she belongs here. (L/N), how about you introduce yourself?"
Thats teacher language for:

I sighed."Alright, if its an absolute must..."
"So yeah my names (L/N) (Y/N), but call me (Y/N). And as you can see, I'm a female. My favourite colour is (F/C), I watch anime & read a lot of manga. I guess you could consider me as a nerd, bookworm, all those hateful words, but everyone is a big nerd about something, so jokes on you if you think I'm a nerd. Also, don't steal my things, I will wreck you. And really, my only goal here is to find my childhood friend from the past, we both have sone unfinished business. Good day now my friends."I say
I walked back to my seat & sat down.
"A-alright Ms (L/N)....today we'll be starting off with Maths so please get out & turn to page 123."
There was a series of groans as people got out their books. Rolling my eyes, I got to work.
*Morning break*
Ace pov
"Ace Ace Ace! You won't believe what happened in class!"Sabo says
"What?"
"We got a new girl in our class! And guess who it is?"Sabo asked with excitement
"Who?"
"It's her! It's (Y/N) (L/N) from our childhood!"
My heart stopped as soon as Sabo said her name.
'(Y/N)? No way....she-she's come back?'
"Where is she."I demand
"In my classroom! Come on!"
Sabo dragged me over to his class, my heart pounding as we got closer.
'(Y/N)...(Y/N)...I can finally see you again!'
Sabo opened the door, and I couldn't believe my eyes.

She's so....beautiful
Her (H/C) was (H/L) now, last time I saw her it was always tied up in pigtails. Her (E/C) eyes resembled a crystal like colour, shiny & bright.

"(Y/N)?"
I turned around & I got the biggest shock of my life
'Ace...'
Here he was, standing right in front of me. I..I thought I would find him later on but...he's right here in front of me.
Ace was looking so handsome. His chocolate brown eyes still had the playful spark in them, full of energy. His messy Raven black hair looked soft to the touch, my fingers burning to have his locks between my fingers. The same childish freckles were still there, I remember I had always told him that the freckles he had was to add a bit of sweetness.
'Jesus christ he is hot.'
"Ace...!"
I stood up from my chair & gave him a big hug. He was surprised at first, but he hugged back in a instant.
"(Y/N)-chan....I've missed you!"Ace says
I chuckle."I've missed you too! Ace my god...you got handsome!"I laugh
Ace laughed as well."I've always been handsome my lady."He says
We pulled back."It's been so long, Ace."I say happily
We hang together everyday now, as friends & lovers. We shared our first kiss on my birthday....
And I'm happy that he has kept his promise
