Quick little info.
One - this is americana football. So quick explanation of football, ^ this is the field ^. Each team has an end zone. The goal is to get the football into the end zone, for 6 points. If the kicker can get the ball in a goal, they get an extra point. Lachlan is a line backer. He tackles people. There are four quarter in the game. Between the 2nd and 3rd quarter there is halftime. When the football field becomes the marching band field. Got it? Yes you do.
Two- their team is the Vikings.
Vikk's POV
It was fourth quarter with 9 seconds to go. The other team had the ball, and they were only 7 yards away from the end zone. We both had one play to make it count. With the clock counting down, the whole team got in position and the referees blew the whistle telling them they were able to continue on with this play.
My eye was on my boyfriend the whole team.
My wonderful boyfriend of two years, Lachlan, was playing in todays game. I was standing on the side line, watching for the final play of the game.

HUT.
And it began the blur of our colors, red and blue, and theirs, purple and light blue, clashing helmets, and bodies thrown to the ground. And yet my eyes were on number 56. Lachlan easily took down the kid he was assigned; the kid was a head smaller than my babe.
Once down with the opponent, Lachlan leaped forward to the one player with the ball, the quarterback. Before the quarterback had a chance to react, he was pushed to the ground. The clock counted down to 0 and the announcers screamed.
"POWER SACKS MOORE. VIKINGS WIN THE GAME."
The whole visitors site erupted in screams, hollers and whistles. The rest of the team not on the field began to scream and chant while the team on field dog pile onto Lachlan for what he just did. I was happily jumping with my friends, Mitch and Jerome, two other boys on the team. we were screaming when the team got off of Lachlan and running towards us, I got a lot of yells and even a hug from Adam Dahlberg. It was only last when Lachlan finally appeared in my vision. He saw me, ripped off his helmet and ran over to me.
He stopped right in front of me, and leaned down to pull me in for a long, passionate kiss. Everyone in the back were going ballistic, but they both aw'ed and began clapping.
We pulled apart and I said,
"You did amazing."
"Thank you Vikk."
He grabbed my hand and we walked off the field with the rest of the winning team. We walked to the locker rooms and the rest of the boys began getting into normal clothes. I was alright dressed appropriately, so I just waited for my friends. Eventually, Preston Rob and Lachlan came out fully dressed. We walked over to the visitors side, since this was not our school. Behind the bleachers, was some small concrete steps. So all of us sat down on the steps. About 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter, Mitch and Jerome came over and sat with us. All six of us just talked for the whole game. By the end of the game, Preston Mitch and I were all snuggled into our boyfriends side. After the game ended everyone piled out of the field while the football team piled onto the school buses. I ran over to the coach and helped him pile the gear into the undercarriage of the bus. Once everything was tightly pack, we sat down and started the bus ride home. The bus ride was about an hour long so, I got comfortable. But it was not too long before another boy, Crainer, came over and asked for some help in math.
After a quick explanation of the function for the parabola, we finished his math homework. He ran back to his seat with his best friend, Ian. While Lachlan came over and sat by me. The coach was talking to him so I was alone for awhile. But when he finished, he came over and sat down. I was very tired from that stressful game, and so was Lachlan. So I snuggled into his chest, he wrapped his arm around me, and I dozed off for awhile.
I was awaken by Lachlan lifting me up and out of the seat. I gripped onto him, so I would not fall off but I was still pretty tired so it was very loosely. He walked off the bus and a little ways before I heard some familiar voices, which I knew by the Sidemen, or my roommates. I was soon put in a car and heard the Sidemen thank Lachlan and Lachlan walk off to his car. Everyone else got in and drove home. Once home, Simon carried me to my bed and laid me down. I immediately fell asleep as I laid down.
I woke up the next morning around noon fifteen from a ringing from my phone. I pick it up and said a very sleepy,
"Hello?"
"Hi Icky Sticky Vikky, how did you sleep?"
"Like a log, you?"
"Same. Coach says that we can go to the field today for a random practice, game thing. I am going do you want to?"
"Sure. What time is it?"
"2pm. I can pick you up if you'd like."
"That's alright." I said getting up from bed and heading to the kitchen.
"When did you wake up?"
"The start of this call."
"Oh...sorry babe. I thought you would be up."
"No i wouldn't be up bitch."
"Vikk!"
"I am a mean morning person."
"Apparently...I will see you at 2. Bye love."
"Bye love."
I went grabbed a bowl of Shreddies and quickly showered. It was around 1 when I got out of the shower quickly got dressed, jumped in the car, and drove to the nearest coffee shop. I got a quick coffee and was at the field by 1:45. I parked and walked out onto the field drinking my coffee.
"Babe!" I heard from an Australian hottie behind me. I turned around to see Lachlan all dressed with the rest of the team.
"Ready for the 'game'?" I asked with the finger quotations.
"Yeah, Coach thought it was just a good idea for tomorrow's game."
"Oh, well. Go get ready, I am going to go to the sidelines. Okay?"
"Yep, see you on the field." he said before running back to the team. I walked over to the sidelines and watched them begin warm ups.
It was about an hour later and they were having a half time break from their 'game.' I was on the field with Preston, Jerome, Lachlan, and Pete.
Preston and Pete were the kickers for varsity and for the freshman team. They were kicking the ball to see how far they could go. They were at the 50-yard line and both were having trouble with getting it in.
"Oh come on it was so close." Pete whined as he missed again.
"That was NO where close." I said as it was a horrible kick, even though a fifty yard field goal was REALLY good.
"Oh like you could do better?" Preston asked about to kick the next ball.
"Much."
"Prove it. If you can make this...you know what if you can make a 60 yard field goal, I will give you 150 dollars." Pete said making this a challenge.
"Add another 150." Preston added.
"Add another 100. You are screwed though." Jerome added from the background
"So 450 if I make a 60 yard field goal, I am in." I said agreeing to this crazy challenge.
"Ha, if you make it any where close, that will be very good. But in, NO WAY."
"Throw me a ball." I said signaling for a football. I walked back to the 40-yard line, farthest from the goal. Jerome threw me a ball and I caught it (barely) and got ready to kick it. Some noise was in the background, but that $450 was implanted in my mind. I took a running stance and threw my legs back and kick the ball as hard as I could and as straight as possible.
Preston Pete and Jerome were all watching as the ball flew like a bird, right into the goal. Preston and Pete were amazed and Jerome just started laughing. I just stood with a huge smile on my face.
Jerome walked over and patted my back and said,
"Double the 450 if you do it again?"
"Deal."
He ran back and grabbed another ball. He handed it to me and I again got ready. I did the same thing and kicked the ball into outer space. It flew and flew and went in the goal again.
I threw a fist in the air and screamed, "900 dollars bitches! Any more bets?"
"Yeah." I heard from someone behind me. I turned around to see Coach with the rest of the team.
"I-I didn't. Please don't give me a detention." I said trying to avoid the topic of me swearing and getting detention.
"Detention? Boy, I was gonna give you a position on the team."
