Manik's POV:
''Aren't you forgetting something?'' I asked her as she was all set to leave. ''Nahi tho'' she said. ''Hum alag alag kyu jaa rahe hai! I mean we are going to a same place. Ek car mein nahi jaa sakte par ek saath jaa sakte hai na'' I asked her. ''Ha but Rohan has called me for breakfast, so I'm leaving early to join him'' she said. ''I'm not jealous of him Nandini, no need of mentioning his name again and again'' I said. He clearly knew that Nandini doesn't love him then why is he doing all this! ''It had become a ritual that we both had breakfast together almost everyday'' she said. It is good to know that she is comfortable with him but all of this is before he proposed his love for her. Nandini has always thought of him as a best friend but Rohan ka taur tarike mujhe theek nahi lag raha hai. I was in my own space when she left from home saying that Rohan might be waiting for her.
I got ready and reached the set on time for Cabir. I'm feeling nervous today and remembered the first day of shoot with Cabir. I had to do many retakes as Cabir wouldn't be satisfied with what he delivered. ''It's an 8th wonder today, Manik Malhotra reached on sets on time that too on the very first day'' Cabir commented. ''But bad luck neither of the actresses are still here, I think we should wait'' Navya said. I saw someone familiar on the sets after a long time and it took me few minutes to see if she was the same person. ''Meher, is it you?'' I asked her after 5 minutes. ''Thank God Manik sir, I thought you would not recognize me'' she said. ''How would I forget you? It's actually good to see you here'' I said. ''Who is she by the way?'' Cabir whispered to me. ''Oh, I forgot to introduce you both. Meher, ye hai humare director Cabir'' I said to her. ''Cabir ji ko kaun nahi jaanta hai sir'' she smiled. ''Cabir, this is Meher, Siya ki personal make up and hair dresser'' I said. ''But we already have a makeup professional for both Siya and Nandini'' Navya intervened.
''But Siya ma'am doesn't do hair or makeup in movies with everyone, she is not just comfortable with other random artists'' she said. ''Siya ma'am called me and made sure that I reach on set before her, Is she already here?'' Meher asked. ''No, she might be on her way'' I said. ''Aane se pehle hi itne arrangements!'' Cabir said. ''Navya tum Nandini se call karke poocho wo kaha hai'' I asked Navya and she went to call. ''I hope both of them won't make it hard for you'' Cabir said smiling. ''They will definitely make it anyhow. I hope kuch tamasha na ho, mujhe bahut awkward aur nervous feel ho raha hai'' I said. Siya came there in no time. ''Hi Siya, welcome on board'' Cabir wished her. ''Meher is already here and she might be waiting for you'' I said. ''Sure, I'll see her'' she said and left in a hurry when Navya said that we are all waiting for pooja. ''Nandini ab tak kyu nahi aayi'' I asked Navya. ''She will be here in 5 minutes she said'' Navya said and it took 5 more minutes for Nandini. She almost started before one and half hour from home.
Finally Rohan had come to drop her. ''Congratulations Cabir for the new venture'' Rohan congratulated him and they both shook hands. ''Congrats to you too Manik'' he extended his hand and I smiled formally taking his hand. Ye Rohan zarurat se zyada smile kyu karta hai. ''Nandini, pooja ki time ho raha hai, you can get ready after this'' Navya said and we all moved to pooja ceremony. ''Oh Siya is already here'' we turned as Rohan said. Siya came there in a white saree and her makeup was on point. I remembered something when I saw her and my hands started sweating and I felt nervous. I've put my hands in pockets and looked here and there to distract myself but then I saw Nandini looking at me in confusion. I smiled at her awkwardly but she didn't smile back and acted as if she didn't see me. Rohan stood beside Nandini and Siya walked till there and stood beside me. Cabir and Navya did the aarti together after the pooja and Navya gave it to Nandini. I had to jump in between Nandini and Rohan to do aarti along with Nandini. She looked at me in a weird way but we stayed silent.
Cabir said we can shoot a scene after the pooja ceremony and asked if I had read the script. ''But mujhe koi script hi nahi di gayi'' Nandini said. ''Pehla scene Manik aur Siya ka hai, you can get ready by the time, we shoot this'' unknowingly Cabir instigated Nandini. ''Cool, main bhi pehle scene dekhungi phir ready hone chali jaungi'' she said. If looks could kill, Nandini would have murdered me almost 10 times since this morning. I felt very awkward even to stand near Siya when Nandini was looking at me. I had no dialogues but had only to react to Siya's dialogues. She seemed to rehearse her lines and said it in one go when Cabir said action. Rohan was also standing beside Nandini while we were shooting. I did not react to anything that Siya said as I was so self conscious of their presence. ''Manik, react to what she said!'' Cabir said. I nodded my head and he went back to see the monitor again. ''Scene-1, take 2, Action'' he said. Siya couldn't even complete her sentence when she heard Nandini smiling. Siya also instantly turned to see Nandini who was still smiling.
Cabir got up and gave an irritating look. Nandini is deliberately doing this to ruin the scene and Cabir also knew it. ''Can we retake it again'' Siya asked Cabir. ''After a break of 5 minutes'' Cabir announced. ''Nandini ma'am, will you please get ready till then'' Cabir asked Nandini. ''Sure, I will come soon'' Nandini smiled at Cabir. ''It all reminds of the first day of direction in my career'' Cabir said. ''Wow, I thought only I was having this deja vu'' I said. Siya came near me when Cabir left from there. ''What were you doing Manik?'' she asked. ''Ab kya kiya maine'' I asked her. ''Manik, you only see what you wanted to see'' she said. ''Sorry, I didn't even understand what you are talking about'' I said. ''I am talking about you going in between Rohan and Nandini, aarti karte waqt beech mein kyu gaya'' she asked. ''Aarti movie start hone se pehle kiya tha hum ne. Koi bhi movie ke liye hero heroine hi pooja karte hai. Who is Rohan to do that aarti'' I asked her and he has no answer. I don't get why both these girls are always supporting Rohan. Is he really being sweet or is it just my insecurities with him!
''You mentioned about us and Mithra-Ethan last time, but what about Cabir-Navya, Nandini-Rohan?'' she asked me. ''Rohan and Nandini? They aren't even a couple. Rahi baat Navya aur Cabir ki, they fought for their love, bahut struggle ke baad wo dono aaj saath mein hai'' I said. ''Rohan ne bataya ki Nandini said yes for him'' Siya said and I can't believe her. ''Did you say that Nandini said yes to Rohan?'' I asked her again. ''Ha mujhe Rohan ne khud bataya'' she said again. Aisa tho ho hi nahi sakta. Nandini got ready and came out so soon. I looked at Rohan who kept looking at Nandini as a gesture to show that he admired her beauty. ''Can we get back to shoot?'' Nandini asked. Cabir was about to say yes when I interrupted him. ''I want to talk to Cabir personally, 5 more minutes'' I said and Cabir followed me. ''Wo Rohan yaha kya kar raha hai! Don't you know that outsiders shouldn't be allowed on set'' I asked him. ''Wo tho Nandini ke saath aaya na, I cannot ask him to get out. You better leave my collar Manik'' he said setting himself free from me. ''Jab tak wo yaha hai, I cannot concentrate. Send him out asap, agar usko nahi bol sakte ho to kam se kam Nandini ko batao'' I said. ''Ok main kuch karunga'' he said. ''Call me out only if he is out of my sight'' I strictly said to him.
I peeped out to see what Cabir was doing and then I saw Rohan sitting with both Siya and Nandini chitchatting. I wonder how does he manage to handle both of them effortlessly! Navya came to me after a while and asked me to join the shoot. I was much relieved as Rohan was not there now. ''Can we get back now at least'' Navya asked and then Meher approached Siya. ''Ma'am, Alya ma'am has called you home urgently'' she said. ''Alya!'' Siya said confused. ''Ha ma'am, unhone kuch nahi bataya but asked you to reach home immediately'' she said. ''Tho tumhe jaldi se nikalna hoga'' me and Nandini said at once. ''Cabir, I'm sorry, I'll join you guys later'' Siya said and left from there in hurry. ''Why did Alya call all of a sudden?'' Nandini wondered. ''I hope it doesn't has to be something with Dhruv'' I sighed. ''Obviously Dhruv ke alawa koi aur tho hoga hi nahi usse thang karne wale'' Nandini said. Cabir shouted on us as Siya left. ''Tum dono ab tho khush ho jao ki shoot cancel ho gaya'' he said. We both looked at each other and realized that we had actually let him down.
''Sorry Cabir'' we both apologized him for what we did since morning. ''Pehle tum dono apne beech ki problems sort out karo, only then we will be able to start anything'' he said. ''Yeh sab Manik ki wajhe se ho raha hai, he was deliberately trying to instigate me'' Nandini said. ''What did I do? Tum ghar se dhed gante se pehle nikal kar itna late kyu aayi set pe and what was that Rohan doing here?'' I asked her. ''Oh you are talking like you did not look at Siya. I saw you looking at her when she came out in that white saree, you also knew I was looking at both of you. Why were you stealing glances at me?'' she asked. ''Oh that! It was only after seeing in her saree, I remembered today is her birthday'' I said. ''Tho aaj Siya ki birthday hai?'' Nandini asked. ''Then why didn't you tell us?'' Nandini asked. ''It was on this day her parents died. Her birthday is a reminder of how I killed her parents! That is why she doesn't like to be wished on this day'' I said. ''Pata nahi main ye sab kaise bhul gaya. Uss Rohan ke chakkar mein hi sab bhul gaya maine'' I said. ''For God's sake, stop blaming him for everything and you are just jealous of him'' Nandini said. ''As if you are not jealous of Siya?'' I said.
''You are my husband and I won't let anyone near you'' Nandini said. ''What?'' Cabir and Navya who were silently listening to our banter were shocked when Nandini said that. ''Husband! Kaun?'' Cabir asked impatiently. ''Manik'' Nandini huffed. ''Nandini and me, we're married'' I admitted finally. ''Ye kab hua?'' Navya was beyond shocked as she had no clue. ''Mujhe bataya kyu nahi?'' Cabir asked. ''Tujhe already pata hai?'' Navya asked him. ''I knew Manik loved Nandini but didn't know when she said yes and when they were married'' I said. ''You should have not hid this Manik, Nandini is already going through a lot and you secretly got married to her'' Cabir said. ''I will announce it to everyone when I'm ready for this. For now, both of you please keep it as a secret'' I pleaded Navya and Cabir. Nandini is just playing along with Rohan because she wanted me to feel jealous of him but why did Siya said that Nandini accepted to Rohan's proposal?
Now the question is who is lying? Is it Siya or Rohan?
