Just how did he do it?
Flashback-Dovah's POV:
"You're right, you're not a man." I summon a bone hand to grab his neck and begin to choke the life out of him.
"You're a pig! Let me hear you... SQUEAL!"
I summon flames around my hand which is right in front of Cartman's face as he's looking at me like I'm the devil himself while feeling like he's being roasted alive. Well, maybe not the devil since Satan is a pretty nice guy here but he is giving me a look of pure fear while I have a sadistic grin on my face.
Present:
Did he even have powers before moving here? How did he go from that to this in just a few years?
"Man, am I happy I didn't use this baby during the drone wars. We would have missed one hell of a show without ever knowing it!"
Through the live video feed, I can see him launching magic attacks that could decimate all of South Park if he wanted them to. He even makes Damien, the literal son of Satan, look like a joke in comparison. It's like something out of an anime.
And then there's Kenny who's somehow changed even more than him and I don't just mean physically though him being a German undead in a princess costume is definitely a change from the orange parka he wore almost 24/7 until a few years ago.
Another Flashback-Dovah's POV:
"Not just with my powers but also who I am as a person. I separated different parts of myself so much, it's like I had Multiple Personality Disorder! But you helped me realize that those parts of me are just that. Parts of me. Parts of Kenny McCormick. I felt like a brand new person after I realized that. I didn't feel afraid anymore."
He then takes off his parka completely revealing a plain white t-shirt with 'sweatpants' in black at the top center and 'jk t-shirt' in black towards the bottom center of the shirt. I chuckle a bit at it.
"You telling me I could get chicks if I took down the hood kinda removed the last mental roadblocks for me. It wasn't because of girls or anything like that, it's because you thought I would be better off without it and I agreed."
A giant ass Kenny killing meteor suddenly comes flying down at us with the intention to cause yet another Kenny death but the blond quickly powers up into Grim Fate and rockets towards the meteor, shattering it by plowing right through it with a flame coated punch.
The meteor explodes in a dazzling light and Kenny lands back next to me without a scratch on him.
"I don't have to be afraid of people, the constant deaths, or myself anymore. I've got the power and fucking balls to stop those things from hurting me and rise above it. I haven't died in almost 3 months since I've been able to stop every death attempt my stupid Cthulhu curse has thrown at me!"
He then burned the parka still in his hands to ashes.
"I don't need this thing anymore. I can live without it now."
Present:
Just how does he do it? How has he changed everything so much? I guess I should be happy that he never really talked to me or tried to change me (at least I think he hasn't yet) because that allowed me to see everything from an outsider's point of view.
I've always considered myself to be an outsider in this town and I've seen what's happened to my home over the last few years because of him. While it was technically people like the ads doing the changing for their own plans, that doesn't change the fact that they were all dancing in the palm of his hand without them ever realizing it.
He manipulates good and bad people alike to get what he needs from them and then stops the bad ones when he's finished. He's like Cartman with morals.
I say that since despite seeming to be the one pulling the strings behind everything that's happened these last few years, he's always saved this town in the end and has helped plenty of people, Kenny and Timmy especially.
Kenny was way more reclusive and just seemed to be depressed underneath that hoodie of his pretty often before Dovah came into his life and Timmy just seemed to be a blurry figure in the background. But Dovah saw them for what they were, or rather, what they could become.
And he was right. They aren't just strong physically, but intellectually as well. It feels almost unreal comparing themselves to what they were a few years ago. Did he truly plan all of this?
If he did and really is controlling everything, why does he still let problems happen? While he took care of the ads, there have been plenty of other issues that he seems to just ignore. While they were resolved in the end by mostly Stan and his group, people still got hurt and the town still got damaged.
'Can't he just stop them easily by himself? He did that with the drones, didn't he? Does he just not care about the smaller ones? Are they not worth his time?'
"Hey."
'He became the top dog so quickly and made people like Cartman and I look like fucking fools in comparison to him. I've heard people call him "Dragonborn" before but I always thought that was just some dumb nickname. Is he really like a chosen one or something?'
"Hey!"
'I guess I can't be angry at him for choosing to ignore some of the problems here. He's already done far more than I ever have. I would just be hypocritical if I did that.'
"EARTH TO WENDY!"
"Huh, what?"
"You were spacing out again, girl. You missed Kenny changing his outfit into that psycho star spammer witch from Touhou Project and taunting Dovah. It was hilarious!"
"Oh." The live video Bebe and I are getting from her drone lights up again as Kenny fires a massive rainbow beam mixed with green fire at Dovahkiin.
"He may be a pervert but the guys sure got style."
'That sure reminds me of a certain someone.'
"And don't even get me started on Dovah. That guy gets more dreamy by the day. Don't even try denying it, Wends, you've been drooling over him for the last 10 minutes."
"I was not drooling over him. I was thinking."
"About him."
"...Yes, but not in the way you're thinking of."
"Sure, Wends. You know, if you want to impress him, maybe you should become a superhero yourself. Jimmy did and he's still buddies with Dovah even after the whole ad thing."
"Bebe, I'm not trying to... actually, that's not a bad idea."
"HAH, I KNEW-"
"NOT FOR THAT REASON! While Dovah seems to be taking care of the giant, world ending problems here, South Park still has to deal with crazy shit regularly and that's just this town. Both the online and real world are still being torn apart by trolls.
(A.N: Troll Trace/Gerald's plot in Season 20 never happened here thanks to Kenny stopping Gerald when he first became SkankHunt42. This meant no Troll Trace and as a result, the other trolls featured during that season are still out there.)
I think it's time I follow in his footsteps and start making a difference myself."
"You really want to become a superhero? Awesome! I can help design the costume. I worked with Dovah on fashion stuff for months so I know what his tastes are."
"Bebe, don't-"
*BOOOOOOOOM*
The ground suddenly shakes as the fight between Dovah and Kenny seems to have finished up.
"Told you he'd win. Never doubted it for a second!"
After getting the drone back, Bebe and I got to work on creating a superhero alias and costume for myself over the next few days. I wanted to be a hero both online and in real life so I went with being a gadgeteer/technology type hero.
Bebe's costumes were a little too revealing for my tastes so I ended up designing most of it myself. She ended up picking the name however which I really liked and didn't realize the double meaning until I already started using the new alias. She's never going to let it go but I can still make it work.
There's a new hero in town and her name is Call Girl.
