Third Person's POV
"I need caffeine" Hailee mumbled as she rubbed her right eye and paddled towards the coffee machine. Not even thinking about turning on the light to the kitchen, the brunette allowed the dim light from the living room to guide her to the source of caffeine. With her eyes still trying to adjust to being awake, Hailee yawns and stretches.
A few moments later she grabs her favorite mug and fills it with coffee and of course, some creamer. Florence drank her coffee black, but not the singer. She wasn't crazy.
Speaking of the blonde, with caffeine finally in her system, Hailee's mind was clearer and she had finally noticed Florence who seemed to be fiddling with one of the drawers where their utensils were.
"Flo?" Hailee mumbled, "Weren't you just in bed? You got up so fast, baby." The singer thought out loud before walking towards her girlfriend and giving the blonde a kiss on the temple. However, right after her lips pull away just an inch, she found her face being smashed harshly against the marble table.
Florence had reacted quickly to the affection but not in the way the singer would've thought. The blonde's quick reflexes had taken Hailee's head and slammed it, cheek first, onto the counter, where it stayed because of the blonde's stubborn hand keeping her there.
"Whadu-" Hailee shrieked into the counter, not being able to speak properly from her face all smashed up. She was wide awake now and she was confused at what the fuck was happening.
Florence speaks up, but Hailee can't seem to make up any English words, it almost sounded like a different language. Wait? Russian?
"-ate Bishop?" Florence spoke up again before loosening her grip on Hailee who immediately stood back up and rubbed her cheek with a wince.
"What the actual fuck?" Hailee exclaimed with furrowed eyes and met her girlfriend's eyes. That's when she got a better look at Florence just to realize that instead of her girlfriend's short hair, it was..long?
Hailee may have been half asleep a few seconds ago, but she was pretty sure hair doesn't just grow back to that length overnight. She was just running her fingers through Florence's short hair the night before soothingly. It was what helped the blonde fall asleep faster and lately, the blonde has been struggling, so Hailee stays up playing with it until Florence falls asleep in her arms.
"Kate Bishop 2.0!" Florence cheerfully greets before shooting Hailee a cute wave.
Hailee stares at the long-haired Florence before it all clicked.
"Yelena?" Hailee questions in disbelief.
"Hiii" Yelena drawls out before pivoting away and back to the drawer of spoons and forks.
"W-what? Why are you-?" Hailee sputters watching as the blonde nonchalantly starts examining her spoons.
"I need help" Yelena casually replies before grabbing a spoon and turning around to look back at the gaping Hailee.
"With?" Hailee asks.
But Yelena was distracted with what she had in her hand for some reason,"This is a really nice spoon. This is the type of cutlery I try to tell my Kate Bishop she needs"
Hailee shakes her head at the assassin before crossing her arms over her chest, "Yelena."
Yelena blinks at her before sighing, "I need help making Kate Bishop, my Kate Bishop"
"What?" Hailee repeats confusedly.
"глупый [Stupid], are all Kate Bishop's the same in all universes" Yelena complains to herself while rolling her eyes but there was a warming fondness in her eyes that the singer could spot.
"Yelena, you came here at 7am in the morning without any type of warning. I haven't seen any of you guys since that one time and that was like a month ago?" Hailee rants, "forgive me if I'm not understanding your riddles."
"So sassy," Yelena comments amusedly, "Just like Kate Bishop."
"God, you really say her name a lot" Hailee mumbles to herself.
"I need your help because well you are experience. You have someone. Florence, da?" Yelena attempts to explain herself. Hailee nods slowly and gestures to continue, " I want Kate Bishop."
Hailee's mouth drops open in realization, "Wait..are you asking me to help you ask Kate to be your girlfriend?"
That seemed to be right as Hailee watches Yelena's eyes light up at her words before nodding enthusiastically. The singer hums to herself before nodding, "Got it. Okay. Okay."
Yelena patiently waits for Hailee to say anything and decides to busy herself by turning back to the drawer and putting the spoon back before closing the drawer carefully. Hailee's eyes watch her carefully before she starts to speak again, "Wait, it's been a month since I've seen you guys and that whole entire time, you guys weren't together?" Hailee asks with widened eyes.
"Look Kate Bishop 2.0. We were- are together? Or I thought so!" Yelena defends herself with a look of horror on her face, "But Kate Bishop does not think so. I was not aware that I had to ask until she called me her friend to Greer."
Hailee watches with widened eyes as Yelena seemed to be so focus on getting her story out, "I asked America if I did something wrong and she asked me these questions and told me that Kate Bishop does not know we are dating because I haven't asked! I thought this whole time we've been dating! We go out every Friday! I make her food all the time. I don't make food for just anyone. And I even share my favorite hot sauce with her!" Yelena cried out before mumbling, "Americans are so weird."
Hailee mumbled in agreement because yeah, we are weird. No matter what universe.
"So let me get this straight," Hailee started, "You came here, to another universe, for help on how to ask Kate to be your girlfriend? You asked America to send you here?"
Yelena seemed to think about her words before nodding slowly, "Yes."
Hailee just stares at the serious expression on Yelena's face before nodding to herself and sighing, "Let me wake up Florence."
A smile makes its way on Yelena's face at those words before skipping towards the fridge,
"I will make breakfast in return for your help! I make waffles. Kate Bishop loves waffles, so you probably do too."

"Not that I don't love you being here," Florence starts off as she finishes the last piece of her waffle before sitting back sated, "But why don't you just ask her? Why go all this way, to us, on how? You said you guys basically act like girlfriends already..so you don't need to do anything extravagant since she'll probably say yes no matter what."
Hailee nods along to her actual girlfriend this time's words.
Yelena shrugs before mumbling something under her breath. Hailee and Florence look at each other before turning back to Yelena with squinting eyes,
"What?" Hailee questions, "You're mumbling."
Yelena rolls her eyes before looking at Hailee dead in her eyes, "Kate Bishop deserves the best"
Florence couldn't stop the 'awe'ing sound she makes from creeping out of her mouth at the statement which makes the assassin glare at her alternate universe self. Nonetheless, Yelena doesn't comment on it and instead continues, "Ever since we came back, she has been talking a lot about you guys. She cares a lot about you guys, and I want. I need your guys' opinion." Yelena whispers the last part almost nervously.
Hailee smiles softly at the vulnerable of the girl, understanding how tough it is for her to let down her walls so fast for two other girls that she barely knew. I guess, being alternate universe selves created that inevitable connection that made it easy for Yelena to express herself.
"Okay, well we'd be happy to help you Yelena" Florence nods sincerely, "What do you want to know?"
Yelena shrugs, "How did you ask Hailee?"
Florence chuckles at that before turning to look at the reddened singer, "Actually..she was the one who asked me."
Yelena perked up at that, "Kate Bishop 2.0?"
"Yes, it was me" Hailee laughs to herself, "I actually asked her to be my girlfriend on accident"
"On accident?" Yelena echoed with a tilt of her head. Hailee didn't want to admit it out loud, but it was an adorable visual and it reminded her of Florence when she made the same face. Man, the multiverse was still a surreal concept to her.
"I was planning to ask her during our next date. We were on our 4th date, I took her to this family restaurant that I grew up eating at. I know the elderly couple who owns it and called in a favor so it was only us that night. It went amazing and then I drove her to a secret spot I found of the city. We were sitting there, admiring the view of the city lights and I turned to look at her and she was...so beautiful" Hailee whispered the last two words as she turns to look at Florence adoringly, "And I blurted out the words."
"Right then and there," Florence added on chuckling, "And I said yes of course."
Hailee grins at that before reaching forward to land a quick kiss on the blonde actress's cheek. Florence's cheeks immediately flush a bright red as she instinctively ducks her head down.
"Disgusting" Yelena scrunches her nose making Hailee roll her eyes playfully.
"Just take her on a date. You guys go out every Friday you said." Hailee reminds Yelena who shakes her head.
"No, that's so boring." Yelena shakes her head in disagreement. Hailee looks at Yelena with a disbelief look, "Boring?!"
"I want to do something else.I don't want to ask her out while we're on a date like you guys." Yelena seemed almost disgusted with the thought and it made the actresses almost offended at the expression.
"Okay then," Florence mumbles to herself, "How about giving her something?"
This seemed to catch Yelena's attention as she looks at Florence with interest, "Go on"
"Buy her something she'd love" Florence suggests with a shrug.
"Like what?" Yelena questions.
Hailee rolls her eyes, "Do we have to think of everything for you?"
Florence nudges her girlfriend at that, chastising her softly, "Well..I remember when Kate was here, she kept on fiddling with the ring you gave her. The whole time she was here, she didn't once remove it. Maybe get her another one?"
Hailee nodded in agreement before adding on, "Oh! Get her a necklace."
Yelena's eyes widened at that before pointing sharply at Hailee, "You. are. a. genius."
Hailee smirks proudly to herself as she watches Yelena have a whole conversation to herself in her head. The assassin then pulls out a phone that Hailee internally points out is bigger than any phone she's ever seen, and starts typing quickly.
"Damn," Florence points out beside her as the couple watches Yelena focus on the screen in front of her.
"What is she doing?" Hailee wonders out loud.
"Maybe she's looking up necklaces," Florence answers the singer who hums in response.
"I'm telling America to come get me," Yelena corrects, her attention still on her phone. Florence and Hailee look at each other with a look of surprise.
Florence stands up from where she is, "Wait, you're leaving already." Hailee could swear her girlfriend was pouting at the news.
'Yes, I need to get the necklace and ask out Kate Bishop." Yelena says with such a determined tone that Hailee couldn't help but smile to herself.
"But you just got here," Florence continues to pout and Hailee couldn't help herself as she takes her girlfriend in her arms and embraces her. The blonde immediately melts in her embrace and leans towards Hailee contently.
"Yeah why not stay just a little longer" Hailee suggests
Yelena seems to finally look up from her phone at that with a surprised look, "Me?"
"No, Steve Rogers" Hailee sarcastically responds, "Yeah you, Yelena."
"You know I could kill you guys in many different ways right?" Yelena questions.
"If you wanted to kill us, you would've done it already," Florence rolls her eyes at the Russian before adding on, "Plus I don't think your Kate Bishop would like it if you killed us anyways."
Yelena hums at the thought before nodding in agreement, "You are correct. Then she would say no to being my girlfriend."
The couple don't bother to respond, instead choosing to watch the assassin.
"As much as I would love to 'third wheel' as America would call it, I already told Chavez to come get me so she should be here any minute," Yelena shrugs before looking at a particular spot behind the couple. Hailee turns around just in time to see the familiar portal that indicated America's entrance.
"It's even better the second time," Hailee hears her girlfriend breathe out in her embrace and she couldn't help but nod in agreement.
" 'Lena you ready to go?" America appears through the portal questioning.
"Yep," Yelena responds as she starts walking towards the girl but not before turning back to look back at the couple, "Thank you Me 2.0 and Kate Bishop 2.0. I will let you guys know if she says yes."
Hailee nods her head with an excited grin as Yelena doesn't bother to wait for any other response before following America through the portal before it closes altogether. Florence's mouth opened as she was going to reply to the assassin but the blonde was too quickly in her exit.
Florence whips her head to look back at Hailee with widened eyes, " I was going to ask her how she was going to let us know? Is she going to portal back again?"
Hailee just shrugs, "I guess we'll find out."

2 Days Later
"Darling! Come here! Guess who texted me!" Florence yells out from the bedroom. A few seconds later, the singer pops into the room with her reading glasses sitting on top of her nose cutely.
"You are just too adorable in your glasses," the blonde looks up and compliments her girlfriend with an admiring expression. Hailee chuckles before shaking her head softly, "Thank you Flo but you're getting sidetracked. Who texted you?"
"Oh yes. It's Yelena!" Florence answered excitedly.
Hailee furrows her eyebrows, "We can text in between different universes now?"
Florence just shrugs, "I don't know. I guess. But that's not the point! Look what she sent me."
The girl with the glasses walks towards her girlfriend and takes a seat beside her, scooting forward to take a look at the screen. The assassin had sent a picture to Florence along with a short message to go along with it.

'She said yes. Thank you and tell Kate Bishop 2.0 thank you as well', is what the caption read.
Eyes widening ,Hailee gasps, "She finally did it?"
"She did!" Florence nods rapidly.
"And that's the necklace on Kate's neck?" Hailee asks.
Florence nods again.
"Wait," Hailee takes a closer look at the picture before chuckling to herself, "Are those Yelena's initials? Just like the ring Kate has?"
Florence snorts, "The girl is possessive of what is hers"
Hailee couldn't help the smirk that displayed on her face before replying,
"I guess that's something you both have in common."
