-Is he back? - Jacob asks right after Alice exited the Swan house hold. - How many Cullens are here, and how long are they staying?
Mackenzie grimaces lightly by hearing Jake's voice tone.
-No, it's just Alice. - Bella says, walking towards the kitchen.
-And she can stay as long as she'd like. - Mackenzie says before following her sister, confused by defending Alice who's literally a stranger.
-Are the rest coming back? - Jacob asks, following the Swans.
-Not that we know of, Jacob. Any other complain? - The youngest twin asks, crossing her arms and looking back at the boy.
-No, that's it. - The guy says, without looking away from Bella.
-Stop looking at me that way, I told you I feel nothing for Edward anymore. You're the only one I want. - The oldest twin says, staring at him.
-But you prove otherwise. - Jacob says, walking towards her.
-I stopped having feeling for Edward since I realised you've always been there for me. You've always supported me, you've always loved me. - Mackenzie grimaces and, without the couple noticing, exits the kitchen.
-Do you really choose me over him? - Jake asks, caressing Bella's cheek.
-Yes, Jake. I want to be with you. - Bella says, taking him by the neck.
Before they could kiss, the house telephone starts ringing. Jacob slightly curses just like Mackenzie who found herself spying. Jake pulls away from Bella and answers the phone.
-Swan residence. - Jacob stays on the phone, staring at the girl while Mackenzie gets by her side. - He's not here. He's arranging a funeral.
The Swan sister look at him, confused by seeing him hang up angrily.
-Who was that, Jake? - Mackenzie asks curiously, watching how Jacob breathes heavily.
-Always in the way. - Mack get a idea of who it might be, so she looks at her older sister.
-Jake, who was it? - Bella asks, confused.
-Step back or I will hurt you. - Jacob says, walking backwards and preventing the twins from approaching him.
-Mack! Bella! It's Edward! - Alice cries, entering the house.
Mackenzie looks at Bella who frowns, confused.
-What happened with Edward? - Bella asks, taking her sister's hand.
-He thinks Mackenzie's dead. Rosalie told him why I came here. - The Swan sisters look at Jacob who starts shaking his head lightly.
-It was him, Jacob? - Mackenzie asks, confused. - It was Edward?
-Why didn't you let Mack speak to him? - Alice asks angrily.
-He didn't ask for you or for Mackenzie. - Jacob replies to the pixie haired vampire.
-Why would he have to talk to me? - Mackenzie asks.
-Mack is Edward's blood singer, right? - Bella asks Alice who stays quiet for a moment. - Is Mack his blood singer?
-Yes. - Alice admits, looking down.
-Why didn't you let Mackenzie talk to him?! They were finally gonna meet! - Bella shrieks angrily at Jacob.
-Mack, Edward's going to the Volturi. - Mackenzie looks at her older sister who starts shaking lightly. - He wants to die too.
Mack looks at Bella who nods firmly, and both start rushing up the stairs. They each go to their bedrooms to start packing some clothes along with some money, phone charger, and passport. The Swan sisters run down the stairs and Mackenzie decides to call her father.
-Dad, sorry for disturbing you right now that you're arranging Mr. Clearwater's funeral, but me and Bella have to make a small trip for at least two days. - Mack says on the phone while exiting her house with Bella behind.
-A two day trip? Where are you going? - The youngest twin thinks about it and watches how Alice uses her speed to enter Carlisle's car.
-I know it's very sudden and you might scold us, but we won a trip to Los Angeles. - Mack says while feelling guilty by lying to her own father.
-He left you, Bella. - Jacob says, following the oldest twin.
-Is Jacob with you? - Mackenzie slightly curses.
-Yeah, he drove su home to pack our stuff. We promise to return safe and sound. Please, give the Clearwater family a hug from me and tell them I'll go to their place when I'm back. - Mack asks firmly, watching how Jacob and Bella argue.
-I do know Edward left me, but we're talking about Mackenzie being his blood singer. They need to be together and I won't allow Edward kill himself because of a mistake of my own. - Bella says firmly.
-Fine. But you'll have a big punishment when you return. - Mackenzie smiles lightly.
-Okay. I love you, dad. - The girl whispers.
-And I love you both. Call me if something happens. - Charlie says while watching that the sudden preparatives for a funeral are doing well so far.
-Yeah, we love you. - Mack whispers.
The Swan girls get in Carlisle's car; Mackenzie on the passenger's seat and Bella on the backseats. Alice has intentions of starting the car when seeing the twins, but Jacob stops her, placing a hand on the steering wheel.
-Please. Just stay. - Jake begs, looking at Bella.
-I already gave you my reasons, Jacob. We must go. - The girl says, closing her eyes strongly.
The Swan twins put on their seatbelts when Jacob let the steering wheel go and Alice started the car doubtlessly, making their way to Forks Airport.
Guess what? MACK AND EDDIE'S ENCOUNTER WILL BE IN NEXT CHAPTER. OMFG. How do you think it'll be?
Bitch, yesterday I went to a cafe where there were lots of cats you could play with, and guess what? My arms became toys. The cats literally fell in love with my arms and started biting into them, so I had to resist and not scream.
