War of the Widows

By SimWoman2002

Summary: When Tony offers to upgrade Natasha and Yelena's widow's bites, Natasha can only find Yelena's pair. So she goes looking for her own pair, and after a conversation with Peter, she figures out exactly who took them and hid them. And so Natasha goes and finds the culprit, very kindly persuading the thief to see things her way.

"Peter, have you seen my widow's bites? Tony offered to upgrade them, and I can't find them anywhere," Natasha told the boy, and Peter immediately stiffened up a bit, looking quite guilty indeed. Natasha raised an eyebrow, immediately catching onto the fact that he knew something.

Natasha had been looking for her widow's bites all morning and she had asked everyone that she had seen around the tower, and no one had seen anything.

"I don't know."

"You know something. So try again," Natasha told him with a raise of her eyebrow. His lips were drawn into a thin line, and he looked down at his hands in his lap.

"Peter," Natasha spoke, her voice scolding, and he looked up at her quickly, breaking as he laughed nervously.

"Okay, okay, I know something but I can't tell you because I was sworn to secrecy!" Peter cried, and Natasha narrowed her eyes, instantly knowing precisely who had made the poor boy keep the secret.

"Thank you, Peter. You told me everything I need to know," Natasha replied, and she headed to her and Yelena's shared room.

Ironically, she had spoken to almost everyone in the tower except for Yelena, and she should have found that odd. However, she had been so perplexed about her missing items that she had not really stopped to consider where Yelena had gotten off to.

Soon enough, she arrived at her room, and she entered, shutting the door behind her. She raised an eyebrow as she spotted Yelena resting there on the bed, her gaze on her phone as she played some game on it. Yelena did not acknowledge she was there outside of the slightest flicker of her gaze in Natasha's direction.

Natasha knew what Yelena was playing at. The blonde was attention-seeking as usual, and one of her favorite manners in which to do this was to steal Natasha's stuff and hide it somewhere. It was a surefire way to get Natasha to give her a little extra one-on-one affection, and it was something that she oftentimes pulled when she felt a little less than perfectly paid attention to and showered with affection.

The redhead scanned her brain, trying to think of when she had given Yelena any less attention recently. She quickly pinpointed it as being that morning when she had gone to go and speak with Tony and had left Yelena alone in the bed to wake up by herself without any morning cuddles. Of course, Natasha had to pry Yelena's arms from around her in the midst of her sleep, so in a way she had sort of gotten her morning cuddles in whether it was conscious or not.

Tony had asked her to meet with him privately and without Yelena because he was planning on upgrading both of their widow's bites. Yelena must have figured out about it somehow and it must have been why Natasha had such an easy time finding Yelena's widow's bites. It must have also been the reason that she could not find her own pair anywhere at all since they were the main piece in Yelena's plan to get her attention.

Natasha approached the bed, knowing that she was about to engage in a huge struggle. She knew Yelena well enough to know that Yelena was not going to give up the location of the widow's bites without a fight.

But if it was attention Yelena wanted, it was attention that Yelena would get.

Natasha wasted no time in plucking the phone out of Yelena's hands, clicking the button on the side of it to turn it off. Yelena just smirked as she finally met Natasha's eyes.

"Took you long enough, poser," Yelena told her with mischief sparkling in her eyes. Natasha just crossed her arms as she looked down at the blonde that was gazing up at her with those beautiful yet annoying honey-greens that very frustratingly held Natasha's entire world within them.

"Where are my widow's bites?" Natasha asked, and Yelena just smirked up at her, perfectly calm as she folded her hands on her stomach.

"I don't know," Yelena replied with a quirk of her eyebrow. Natasha stared at her for a long moment, slowly nodding as she placed her hands on her hips.

"I'm going to give you one more try. Do you know where my widow's bites are?" Natasha asked patiently, and she felt the slightest bits of fond exasperation rising in her chest as she looked down at Yelena. Yelena quirked an eyebrow.

"Nope."

"Are you sure?" Natasha asked, readying herself for the wrestle that was about to ensue. Yelena nodded.

"No idea," Yelena enforced, her eyes glittering with the anticipation of what was about to happen. Natasha let out a long sigh, looking down at the floor just next to the bed. She then returned her eyes to Yelena's.

"Too bad. You might could have saved yourself from the hard way if you were feeling cooperative," Natasha told her just before launching herself onto Yelena.

Yelena received her quickly, wrestling against her, and Natasha easily straddled the blonde's middle, trying to hold her down to the bed. However, Yelena quickly managed to throw Natasha over onto her back on the bed, the both of them dangerously nearing the side of the bed. Yelena's eyes were wild and full of mischief as she tried to hold down Natasha and keep her from moving. But Natasha kept pushing back against the blonde, never letting her get a solid grip on her as she grabbed at Yelena's chin and shoved her head back.

"Where are my widow's bites?!" Natasha demanded almost as if she were in an interrogation. Yelena let out a sharp bark of laughter in reply.

"Somewhere in this tower," Yelena admitted before moving off of Natasha and trying to jump onto her at a different angle in hopes of more efficiently holding her down. Natasha grappled with her, raising up as Yelena was coming down toward her. Natasha had a firm hold on one of Yelena's arms, but Yelena had her leg locked around Natasha's with her free arm grabbing onto Natasha's shoulder firmly.

"Nice try, but that's not a good enough answer to get you out of this," Natasha informed her, before throwing her to the other side of the bed. Yelena surged upwards with a slight laugh, and Natasha could not help her own chuckles that fell from between her lips as she tried to force Yelena down.

Natasha swung her leg out, hooking around Yelena's waist, and Yelena tried to writhe her way out of the hold, laughs affecting her groans of effort.

"Oh, poser, are you really even trying?" Yelena taunted, and Natasha just narrowed her eyes before very skillfully wrapping around Yelena's waist with both legs and throwing the other girl on the carpet next to the bed. She knew it was a move that would not hurt the younger girl, but it would definitely surprise her.

However, to her surprise, Yelena yelped as she hit the ground, and Natasha immediately forgot anything about winning the wrestling match as she shot up from the bed and rushed over to where she had thrown Yelena in the floor. Yelena was holding her head, and Natasha felt the guilt overcoming her as she knelt down next to her little sister quickly, grabbing Yelena's face in her hands.

"Yelena, sweet girl, what happened?" Natasha questioned, her voice soft yet calm despite her worry and concern over her younger sister.

"I hit my head," Yelena expressed, and though her tone was a bit odd when she uttered the words, Natasha did not really think about it, her focus too strongly on ensuring that Yelena was not hurt badly.

"Here, here, move your hands. Let me see," Natasha spoke, gently grabbing at Yelena's wrists as she tried to pry Yelena's hands away from the affected part of her head.

However, as she finally managed to pull them away, she realized that there was absolutely nothing underneath Yelena's hands. Natasha furrowed her brow, but just as she realized that the entire thing had been a trap, Yelena turned the tables, flipping them both over.

Natasha narrowed her eyes and effectively utilized the momentum to throw off of her and onto the floor. Natasha grabbed onto her firmly, locking on and not allowing Yelena a single advantage as she looked down at her sister and held her arms above her head with one hand.

Yelena was breathing heavily from all of the excitement and fighting, her chest heaving as she grinned ridiculously widely up at Natasha. Natasha raised an eyebrow as she looked down at the girl underneath her.

"Hmm... That wasn't very sweet, sestra," Natasha pointed out, and Yelena just laughed breathlessly in reply, a challenging glare in her eye.

"What are you going to do about it, poser?" Yelena asked, cockiness rolling off of her in giant waves. Natasha just grinned evilly before leaning forward into Yelena's face.

"That's not a very wise question," Natasha told her before using her free hand and digging her fingers under Yelena's arms and skittering her fingers across the girl's sides.

Yelena immediately burst into laughter, trying desperately to wrench her hands out of Natasha's grip so that she could at least somewhat defend herself. Natasha just laughed with her, enjoying the musical sound of Yelena's helpless giggles.

"Please, stop!" Yelena cried in between laughs, trying desperately to twist her body away from Natasha's assaulting hand. Natasha just smirked wickedly, continuing in her tickles as she dug her fingers into Yelena's side.

"Please, I'll tell you where the widow's bites are!" Yelena finally yelped, and Natasha continued in her tickles just a bit longer, Yelena trying desperately to escape from the older woman. Natasha finally stopped in her movements, looking down at Yelena and taking in her adorably flushed cheeks and sparkling eyes full of mirth. Natasha had to resist the urge to kiss the ruddy skin and just grab Yelena in her arms tightly, hugging her to death.

"Yes?"

"They're... They're," Yelena breathed heavily, and Natasha just waited patiently for the blonde to speak. Yelena paused for a long moment before an evil smile came onto her face.

"In the same place you left your ability to detect a trick when you see one!" Yelena finished wickedly, and Natasha just shook her head as she raised up. She clicked her tongue disappointedly.

"Poor, sweet Yelena. I guess we're going through the hard way now," Natasha expressed.

"What, we weren't going through the hard way before?" Yelena smarmily questioned, just as Natasha raised up Yelena's shirt just enough to expose her stomach.

Yelena's eyes went wide, and she started to try to say something, but Natasha blew a raspberry on her stomach, officially interrupting any and all trains of thought. Yelena immediately tried to buck Natasha off, her laughter resounding throughout the room.

Natasha smirked as she raised up and blew raspberries on Yelena's cheeks and around her neck. Yelena shriveled from her, trying to evade it as she grew almost totally out of breath from the tickles.

Finally, Natasha let her arms go, bringing her hands down to cup Yelena's face as she peppered gentle kisses all over her nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. She finished off by pressing two soft kisses to her eyelids, and she moved off of the blonde, rolling over so that she was resting next to Yelena on the floor.

Yelena turned on her side and moved nearer, pressing her nose against Natasha's shoulder and peering up at her from her position there. Natasha could not help the loving smile that overtook her face as she looked at her sister.

"Bottom drawer of the dresser stuffed in the back left corner," Yelena spoke simply, and Natasha just chuckled slightly.

"All that just for something you could have told me that easily?" Natasha asked, and Yelena just huffed, looking down as she brought her hands across Natasha to play with Natasha's fingers from where the redhead had rest them on her stomach. When Yelena looked back up at her, Natasha felt her entire being warming with the adoration in Yelena's eyes.

"What's the fun in easy?" Yelena asked mischievously, and Natasha chuckled slightly, a soft smile settling across her face as she looked at the blonde. She knew that Yelena had wanted to go through all that just for the attention it garnered, and she found that she could not help but feel an immense fondness even though the entire ordeal was a hassle. Natasha herself had actually enjoyed their tussle quite a bit.

"I love you, sladkaya devochka," Natasha expressed finally, moving her head forward and kissing Yelena's forehead.

Yelena practically melted underneath the attention, pressing her nose harder against Natasha's shoulder.

"I love you, poser."
