Black spikes formed all around me as I weaved between the numerous black pikes Aiming to mount my head On them, My body turned to mist in my illusions as two black spikes flew at me flying harmlessly into the blackness behind me.
A wave of vines busts out of the ground at the Vitra named Uto as he called himself before slaughtering our elite troops.
He responded with a wicked sneer before he nonchalantly flicked his right hand. My body sensed the disturbance in front of me before I could actually see. Alea and I both dashed in opposite directions just in time to dodge the barrage of black spikes that had instantly manifested below us.
The ground that we had just been standing on respectively now had seven-foot spikes gleaming menacingly from the ground.
"Brandish your weapon, Lessers!" he spat, siphoning a large black harpoon from the center of his palm.
Let's go! I charged with Alea by my side shrouded in my illusions.
I held my Wand low as I dashed toward the Man. The ground beneath my weapon splintered beneath its aura, but ruining nature was the least of my concern.
With a manic grin, Uto charged as well, his harpoon arm recoiled like a snake ready to lash out.
In an instant, my Wand met his, creating a spherical wave from the sheer concussive force of our impact. The elements infused in my Wand surged out but Uto held on effortlessly.
He waggled his eyebrows while our weapons were still intertwined. "Not bad."
Alea appeared next to him through my illusions and thrust her sword of plant magic at his heart, A black spike shot up under her Alea which thanks to her sensory skills dodged suffering only a small cut.
"Lesser trash could never hit me." he spat twilling his spear.
"Ya sure bout that?"
*CLANG!!*
Uto flew to the side, slamming into a nearby boulder which shattered upon impact.
The veil of Mist dropped revealing A masked adventurer with a red claw mark over the right eye of his mask. In one hand he was holding his Greatsword, and the other was Uto's severed arm.
"Two can play the dismembering game you skeletal skinwalker-Esque bitch~!" His distorted voice said musically.
I couldn't sense this man's mana at all? how is that possible I'm a white core made a lance at that?
Pulling his mask to the side he revealed who he was, and there's only one person I know with black hair, red eyes, and used comedy in every sentence he could.
"Hey teach!"
"Al I appreciate the save but what are you doing here?" I said shaking my head.
"Just a class field trip to an e-class dungeon," he said matter of factly and slipped his mask back on, Alexanders hair turned white fading into blue, a pair of horns grew from his temples and spikes grew from his elbows. He swung his great sword as if it had the weight of a feather, an arc of Storm magic shot out of his sword when he swing it.
Alexander Shard pov:
The earth shook violently as my attack indented a large chunk of the ground. The shockwave dropped the row of stalactites closest to Uto.
I lowered myself, weaving more mana around my body in case of a surprise strike, a psychotic laugh rang from within the depressed cavity of the ground. Again, I saw the flickering fluctuations of mana around me. large pillars of the shadow fired out at me.
'Storm Shroud!" I yelled, Storm mana spun around my body like a second hazy skin of black and a sickly green. The pillars of Shadow spikes launched at me just melted as I blocked them with Balmung that was enhancing the corrosive poison in the shroud of storm mana I was wearing to a crazy degree.
"WHAT!?" Uto yelled at me looking at the Poison mana surrounding me as I smiled at him just a psychotically as he was doing to Aya just a bit ago.
"What? Not expecting your own half-blood friend's magic to be used by the enemy? Aww, the pup is gonna cry from the betrayal." I mocked as I shredded his arm to a red paste with wind magic.
"LESSER TRASH!" Uto yelled as he flew at me like a blur, Even using my beast wills second stage and the massive reaction boost that I got from Storm made him barely perceivable. My body acted on its own from the ingrained muscle memory from Bahamut's training.
I dodged to the side by shifting my weight to a point I was going to fall, My hand Burst out grabbing Uto's wrist I twisted my entire weight throwing him into the Illusion mist I and Aya were both used together.
"ALEA!" Aya yelled signaling Alea who was waiting.
Uto's body was thrown by a whip of vines into the air as a hundred spikes of wood shot out of the ground aiming to impale Uto.
A black sheet of shadows appeared protecting Uto from the spikes as he landed.
I threw out the LPA artifacts I had been saving for this moment cranking their output to the max and flying them around Uto at high velocity, the massive cavern was bathed in light as I saw Uto's bandages falling off from my Acid when I threw him, Little studs of metal were all over his torso and limbs.
Uto's horn glowed a purplish-black light while the shadow from his countless piercings spread entirely around his body.
"If you were able to notice my weakness in the short time we had been playing, don't you think I would've found out about it a long time ago?" His voice came out muffled from the black mask that covered his entire head aside from his horns shattered.
I siphoned more mana out of my core, manifesting a gauntlet of Ice around my right hand as I struck the black projectile. If I dodged it, the attack would've hit Alea, but I managed to redirect his surprise attack. Rather, I thought I did.
He pointed a finger down as if he was warning me of something. I couldn't see Uto's expression from behind his shadow mask, but I swore I could see him smirking.
Less than a second later, I felt the sharp prick of something against my skin coming up from below me.
With the internal lightning-attribute mana art enhancing my reactions, I commanded the Stasis in my core and blasted it out violently.
Colors flipped while the swirling masses of Blue and purple particles of Stasis that looked like a galaxy of colliding Aether and mana exploding on contact with each other were frozen in glass.
The stasis around me trembled violently trembled before freezing into place. Uto, Alea, Aya and even the black spike almost lodged into my back all stopped abruptly.
What the fuck just happened? no ill worry about this later!
With Uto's last attack no longer in motion, I was able to whirl my body to avoid the full brunt of the impact.
I Kicked off the ground disappearing in a flash of lightning that followed me I stopped my foot in front of Uto spinning on my heel I swung Balmung At Uto.
The stasis dispersed out of its locked positon, Uto's eyes widened at me appearing next to him about to sever his head from his body, I Felt the Shadow magic launch at my chest.
I switched my stance redirecting my sword to block his shadow Spike at my chest, The force launched me backward.
Releasing Stasis to stop- No Freeze time like that was much like letting out my breath after being underwater until the brink of drowning. I was barely able to gather my wits as the black spike flew up, leaving a large gash on my back rather than a gaping hole.
My body hurdled down, but just as I stomped my foot down to keep my balance, Uto reacted. He flickered just beside me and struck me and my bond with his black fist.
Spiraling down toward the Wall like a comet, I flashed in and out of consciousness once more. My entire body was a bundle of agony so I had a hard time discerning which part of me was exactly broken.
Without even the luxury of screaming from the pain, I Cloaked my body in a storm magic mix of poison, Soulfire, and lightning.
The wall shattered on impact, My breath winded and my lungs struggling for breath I used wind mana to force air into my lungs as I increased the oxygen content. the pain vanished gradually as my wounds were closed by the soulfire.
As I pushed myself back up I saw Alea and Aya relentlessly slamming Uto in attack after attack delaying him as felt my strength return to me by the second.
I pulled Artemis from my ring and drew it to maximum strength, Drawing more and more mana into the arrow It formed a shell over the amount of storm magic it carried which was the same as Ragnarok I used to kill the Elderwood Guardian which was 75 percent of my reserves now that I was Initial silver.
"Bathe in the light of my lord, let thine body be pierced by his glory and power, In the name of the Storm dragon Bahamut Die here and now by this arrow!"
"JAVALIN OF BAHAMUT!"
The arrow broke the sound barrier dozens of times over as it sunk into Utos shoulder It blew off his other arm that was about to impale Alea and shatter her core. His veins bludged green as the poison entered his bloodstream.
The retainer buckled over from the Poison. He took a step back to keep himself upright while a Cough of fluid too dark to be blood burst from his mouth.
I Dashed up to him shattering the rocks underneath me I appeared in front of him scattering the dust my arrow had kicked up.
"Pray that Boreas doesn't Find you in hell before I do," I said venomously with a smile Before plunging my clawed fist into his sternum and wrenching his mana core out with a fountain of blood tearing out of his chest. I coated his core in a layer of stasis to make sure it was sealed for now and stored it in my ring.
"The High Sovern will find your family and kill you all, We will raze this content to the ground before we rape your people in front of you!" He spat in my face his voice growing weaker with his rapidly approaching death.
"I'll Destroy Taegrin Caelum and the central domain before he makes landfall." I said watching his eyes widen at my knowledge of the name and location of Agronas castle.
Gripping his horns I slammed my knee like a battering ram into his face as I tore off his horns with my Clawed hands. watching Uto's body fall to the ground dead.
"Stay with me Alea!!."I whipped my head around and saw Aya cradling Alea who had a Rapidly fading Spike through her Chest.
Is it impossible to save her? I cursed as I ran to her.
