It was already evening nandini was sitting with Myrah making her do her social science assignment and she was constantly showing tantrums as apparently she suck in social science!
Myrah( whining)- mummaaa, enough for today pleaseeee, myrah needs rest now.
Nandini(glaring) - Myrah, you are not getting up from here before you complete your work.
But seems like Myrah was in no mood to study today. She folds her hands angrily across her chest making a really angry pout.
Myrah ( angry pout)- myrah baby needs rest and she is getting one. Papaji says rest is necessary especially for babies. You are a numeroigst still you don't know this? Huh
Nandini ( chuckling)- it's neurologist baby and rest is needed only when you do some work not like you...always sleeping and eating like a baby panda.
Myrah opens her mouth to say something but nothing came out so she stands up on the bed and dramatically shouted.
Myrah ( looking upwards)- aiyappaa did you see her??? How she is making your poor baby do work and calling her baby panda?? A BABY PANDA??? What will happen with innocent children like me in this cruel world aiyappaa????
Nandini ( sternly)- enough of your drama Myrah malhotra, sit down or else I'm calling your dearest papaji.
Myrah-( smiling mischievously) okay, call.
Nandini slapped her forehead as they both know manik is always in Myrah's team when it comes to studying. As according to nandini myrah has got this laziness and hate for studying genes from him only about which manik is actually proud of. Myrah likes to study about that stuff only which can help her in passing her exams same as manik as they both think most of the things which are taught in school never comes useful in real life.
While nandini and Karan have some different opinions about this. They think things taught in junior classes are always important as they are basic and subjects which are taught in higher classes are useful too but it just depends on what career you are going to take later on.
While aarav? Well he goes in a completely different direction and thinks studying is nothing but a waste of time and you should have just practical skills. Only nandini knows how much hard work she has done to make him study during his childhood. She is a doctor and very well knows not all fields require just practical knowledge and as aarav was not sure he is going to take which field nandini never takes risks.
Nandini( smirking + loudly ) - fine, karannnn
The min she calls karan, Myrah sat down taking her books as even though he pampers her the most, he becomes strict too regarding some matters and studies are one of them. So as much as Myrah loves Karan, she is equally scared of him as well. She hates when he becomes angry with her.
Nandini smiles in victory and again started helping her and Myrah twitch her lips in pure annoyance but didn't say anything while nandini finds it hard to control her laugh.
On another side, manik was sitting with aarav and was having a tough match with him playing Xbox. They were continuously yelling, screaming and laughing hard. Whereas aradhya and mrudula were sitting on bed cheering for manik while cabir and abhi who were beside aarav were cheering for him.
As manik was upset with the arrival of dhruliya and mukti, Nandini asked aarav to indulge manik in some activity so that he won't feel more upset to which aarav readily agreed and challenge Manik for a match.
The match was heated as both were extremely good in this But in between the game suddenly Manik got a call to which he got distracted and aarav took this chance and beat him making him groan in annoyance.
Aarav- ( shouting happily)- yess!!! See I told you, you will lose today.
Manik( rolling his eyes)- it was just because of this stupid phone call or else I would have shown you who is the boss.
Aarav- ( naughtily) yeah yeah make excuses but we all know you are becoming weak oldie.
That's it, this one sentence was enough for Manik to run behind aarav trying to beat him whereas everyone was laughing loudly and aarav was screaming for help.
Manik( running) - you just wait brat, I'll show you who has become old.
Abhi ( hiding aarav behind him laughingly)- okay okay calm down both of you.
Manik smacked aarav lightly and settled down on a bed while he for a second Made a pout but throw himself on the bed besides Manik making the whole bed shake.
Aradhya ( murmuring)- hippo
Aarav- ( narrowing his eyes on her) Suna Maine! ( I heard)
Aradhya ( giving tight lip smile)- good for you.
Cabir ( giggles)- that's my baby.
Saying this cabir high five with aradhya whereas everyone else chuckled and Mrudula snuggles in Manik's chest making him smiles widely.
Manik( caressing her hair lovingly)- how's my baby doing?
Mrudula ( making really cute pout)- baby is good and misses you a lot. Nowadays you never spent time with me. You have forgotten me.
Manik( guilty)- I'm really sorry bacha but how can you say I forget you huh? You know na how much I love you? Even more than that sanki dad of yours.
Mrudula giggles listening sanki while manik smiles delightfully and patted her head like a child.
Manik( Kissing above her head)- always stay happy kiddo, I love you.
Mrudula- ( sighing in bliss)- I lovee you too appa.
Manik's smile widened, true she calls him appa but it's not very often. So whenever she do so, he becomes really happy as noone of his children calls him that whereas Mrudula has learn this word from Nandini and instantly liked it but to everyone shock she uses this for Manik instead of ram about which manik always teases him and ram fake whines about it all the time.
Everyone was smiling at the duo when cabir looked at aarav and asked.
Cabir- where is Karan and Varun?
Aarav-( Rolling his eyes) don't ask. Both are busying studying. Karan was new so he is trying hard to cover up the portion taught till now while varun is helping him. I just don't get from where Karan has got these hardworking genes?? Like he never stays idle. All the time you will caught him doing something or the other.
Manik- learn from Varun how he is helping his brother in studies. Don't you Think you should help him too?
Aarav- ( making straight face) dad trust me I'm helping him only by NOT helping him in studies or else he will definitely fail.
Everyone laughs at him and Manik curse himself. He definitely Knows from where both myrah and aarav has got these genes as this is one of the few things about which nandini absolutely hates him.
As he was busy thinking myrah came running inside the room followed by nandini. Myrah when saw mrudula is settled in Manik's one arms, she kissed her cheeks and settles in another arms of daddy dearest.
Myrah( cutely)- daddy, you know I studied so hard today. I'm shooo tired.
Manik ( peppering kisses all over her face)- aww my Pikachu. So my good girl deserves reward right? What does she want tell me?
Nandini -( little sternly) anything except chocolate and ice creams Manik.
Myrah pouted and started thinking about other things which she can ask while Manik Bend a little forward and kissed nandini on her head making everyone hoot loudly and nandini blushed.
Manik( lovingly)- as my queen says.
Nandini( lightly hitting him) -Manik.
( After a pause) btw where is Karan and Varun?
Manik- studying. Karan is having hard time covering his portion in school. I'm thinking of sitting with him tonight and helping him with his work.
Nandini ( nodding in yes)- you should. I'll go and check on him. ( Turning towards aarav) You. Don't you want to study?
Aarav-( making bad face)- why are you not saying anything to these two. We have commerce but this mrudula literally has taken science and what about aradhya? Doesn't she have anything to study in arts?.
( He said pointing towards mrudula and aradhya.)
Aradhya- we both are done with our studies unlike you. Huh.
Myrah- (cutely) aradhya dii, mrudula dii...I. Have one question.
Aradhya ( lovingly)- what is it baby?
Myrah- if you have different subjects then why are you working on same project?
Mrudula- the project in which we all are working is not study project baby, it's for a competition. Like, we will have to show scientific evidence about that topic which me and Varun is handling , presentation and ppt making, Karan and aarav is handling while aradhya dii is working on researching about how it's affecting our daily lives.
Myrah made a ohh face while everyone was smiling at this cute little packet.
Nandini ( smiling)- you guys talk, I'll go to both of them and see if they need anything.
Everyone nodded and nandini went towards Karan's room to see him scribbling something on paper frustratingly but soon he throw that pen away and started pulling his hair in irritation.
Karan(annoyingly)- ughhh!
Nandini had a look of concern in her eyes, she immediately went towards him and started pressing his head making him open his eyes.
Nandini-( softly)- what happened Bacha?
Karan( leaning on her stomach)- I'm so tired maa. This is so frustrating. So much have been taught in school already and I have missed alot. Varun can only help me in maths as he is in PCM. I'm good in maths but still I don't know why I'm messing it up again and again.
Nandini( looking around)- but where is he??
Karan ( in same position)- washroom.
Nandini started pressing his shoulders and head simultaneously trying to make him feel a little better.
Nandini ( softly)- you will get this baby. Don't stress too much. Don't worry about other subjects Manik will help you, infact he was telling me he is going to sit with you tonight to help you out.
Karan ( looking up)- he will?
Nandini ( nodding)- yes Bacha, but first get up and have something. Then only I'll let you stay awake for whole night. Take a rest for few hours so that you can feel bit energetic.
Karan was way too tired to argue so agreed with her and at the same time Varun comes out to which Nandini smiles and took both of them to aarav's room where everyone was present.
