Stupid Hades! Stupid Life! Stupid book!
I shook my head in anger as I walked towards my room. Damn that man for playing with me after turning me on! How dare he!
"The audacity of that man!" I growled and entered the room.
I lunged myself to the soft bed. Letting it eat me. The way he laughed after he caught me off guard was annoying. I will never believe that such man is meant for me. I sighed and walked to the window pane. His kingdom was beautiful. Crystals all over the place. This is the good side of the underworld.
I saw the souls walking happily on the endless meadow. Who knew souls can be so beautiful? They were so powerful, yet kind. These people deserves to have an internal life here. Those are the souls who are worth keeping. The kind of souls that shouldn't be inside my book.
"You know.. you can talk to me about stuff Ms.Lady."
I was surprised to hear a voice behind me. When I turned around I saw a beautiful soul. She's not dead but...her vibe is so angelic. Even though I know she can be no harm I am still not trusting this maiden.
"Who might you be? And who gave you the rights to enter someone else's room?" I asked politely.
She smiled.
"My birth name is Irinka, please to meet the new wife of master Hades." She bowed.
My eyes widened.
"I am not his wife!" I shouted because of shock.
She chuckled.
"Not yet, but I am pretty sure you will be."
She smiled mysteriously. I looked at her flatly.
"Anything is possible. But in my case? Love will never be for me. I don't believe it is." I stated and grabbed the book on my belt. It turns little like a locket and is on my belt when it is not summoned.
"Everyone is worthy of love my dearest. After all, you deserve to be happy after sacrificing that much for your sister."
My mouth gapped.
How did she know?
"It was nice meeting you, Queen Vweusky Shivani." she bowed once more.
I was going to ask her how she knew but she was gone in a blink of an eye. Like she never went in the room. My heart pounded. I looked around and found not one trace of Irinka. Who is she?
My thoughts were stopped when I heard a knock.
"My lady, you are needed in the throne room for your fitting for Master Hades' party this upcoming day of the dead." said Ceña.
"I will be right with you." I said politely.
A party huh? I wasn't even informed that there will be a party. But I guess it is the end of october, the King will have a feast for his people. How sweet. My plan will not work if I don't observe the whole castle, the timings and such. I will not cause such ruckus. The people of the underworld doesn't deserve that. I just don't realize why people looks down on Hades' kingdom. It is the most beautiful kingdom of them all.
I sighed and walked out gliding gracefully. Hiding my annoyance from everybody. When I finally arrived at the room there was Aphrodite, gracefully smiling at me with Hera. I just bowed due to curtsy. Nothing will happen if I acted bitchy towards those who's only trying to be nice to me.
"Hera and Aphrodite will take your fits. There are dresses in your wardrobe but I doubt that you will use them since they have been used by the former queen." Hades said nonchalantly.
I scoffed.
"You bet I won't, I might catch STD's. No offense Aphrodite." I smiled sweetly.
His brows furrowed but only shrugged.
"I will leave you ladies alone. I have a meeting with Zeus and Apollo this afternoon." he said and was walking out of the door when he suddenly stopped in front of me and slowly licked my earlobe.
I was in shock. I couldn't even move. But I felt him smirk.
"Don't even try to run away kitten. I will always know."
With that, he disappeared.
I was still in shock.
"Oh well, I guess Hades will finally have his permanent queen now." Aphrodite said with a jolly voice.
"Agreed." said Hera.
I was still not moving.
Aphrodite scratched her head.
"Goodness gracious she's still not moving! Hera! Do something!" She said and went near me.
Hera pouted and went near me too. She poked my sides but it still didn't work.
"Oh God I think she's broken." Hera ranted.
"HOW ARE WE GOING TO GLAM HER IF SHE'S BROKEN!?" She hysterically said.
"HADEEEEESSSSSSS!!"
That shout snapped me back to reality. Snapped my whole being back to reality. I sighed.
"I am not broken don't worry." I told her. She gave out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God you moved. Now we can proceed on taking your measurements." she said. I just nodded.
They took her measurements and it took them five long hours to decide which dress will she wear. And when I say them it meant Hera and Aphrodite. In the end they wanted me to wear red. A simple red dress for the 1800's era. That was the theme of Hades' party.
"Do you, by chance know a girl named Irinka?" I asked them as they sip their tea.
Their eyes widened.
"How do you know Irinka?" They asked.
I was so confused, they looked so shocked. I was expecting that Irinka was a nymph or something but, turns out she's more based on her reaction.
"She went inside my room earlier." I simply answered and bit my cookie.
They looked at each other and looked back at me.
"You do know what that means right?" Aphrodite asked.
I shooked my head.
"My nose aren't around the business of the Gods or your parties and such, I am focused on the book I am holding." I answered seriously.
Aphrodite sighed.
"Irinka isn't a God. She isn't a nymph either." Hera started.
"But she's as strong as you. And when she shows herself to someone, it means that she will have a happily ever after. If you hold Once upon a time to punish, she holds Happily ever after to give the people who deserves it to be happy because she doesn't have her own." Aphrodite added.
My brows furrowed.
Me?
Deserving for a happily ever after?
I don't think so.
But I looked at Aphrodite and thought, she deserves one. After all, she became a goddess of something she didn't want. The reason why she can't be on my book.
I sighed.
How will I end this long ride?
