just a little heartfelt fluff for you... a little sad, not really a relationship
**
{Y/N} {L/N} was, no doubt, the most mysterious girl in UA high. she was quiet and collected, and noone would ever see any kind of emotion on her face. just serious. she wouldnt get close to anyone, eat alone, and always seemed like she was completely ok with it.
when training, she was always at the top. she ran fast, attacked and protected fast, and was stealthy. she didnt need any help training, and was always doing her best, which was one of the best in the class. she wouldnt need any instructions, and if she got any instructions, she would simply change what she was told to change quickly, and went back to being that perfect student.
in class she probably wouldnt raise her hand, but if she was asked to answer, her answer would always be precise and perfect, and after recieving her praise, she would look down, and go back to her life.
she wouldnt mind helping anyone who needed her help, but never seemed to go out of her way to ask for help, maybe, she just truly didnt need any. just an introverted student.
at the camp incident, she kept collected and calm, and was working stratigically, not going into panic, and helped multiple students back to camp, even after she got hurt.
didnt matter what, she was calm... collected... and very secretive.
today, aizawa and all might went out to do rounds in the houses to get everyones parents to sign and let their children live in the dorms.
"next house... {Y/N} {L/N}... ive actually never met her parents..." aizawa says as they get in the cab, "what about meetings?" all might asks the dark haired man. "one time she came with her uncle, said her parents couldnt come. the other time she came alone" aizawa shrugs.
"names?" all might asks, and aizawa opens his notebook and goes down to your name. "{M/N} and {F/N}.." aizawa reads them, confused that its the first time he ever heard your parents name.
"think itll be hard?" all might asks, "i dont know... she got hurt pretty badly at camp, but now that im thinking about it... we didnt recieve any phone calls from her parents... and she left the hospital alone" aizawa starts to guess something is wrong, and starts pondering on whats going on.
the cab stops after some time, and the two heros leave the cab. the street they were in was really far from the school, and it seemed pretty secluded, a suburb outside of the city that seemed pretty calm.
they walk to the building and go upstairs to the last floor, to a stand infront of a wooden door. "thats it" aizawa says and all might raises his hand to the door and knocks. on the wooden door, theres a paper clip with your name on it, and there were different bents and holes in the door.
you moved your head over your shoulder when you heard the knock on your door. "whos there?" you call from the sofa, running in your head possabilities for any visitors. there werent much.
"its.. mr aizawa and all might!" aizawa calls at the sound of your voice, and your eyes grow wide as you scramble to your feet from the sofa, confused.
you put down your cup of tea and stalk cautiously to the door, before opening up the locks and opening the door, now, standing face to face, or more like... two chests to face.
"hello" you say carefully, looking at the teachers. "hello {Y/N}" aizawa says, all might offering you a smile. you stood there, staring at each other silently. "would you mind if we... came in?" all might finally asks, raising his eyebrow.
"oh" you jump and shake your head, "yes, of course" you smiled, opening the door wider and stepping aside, motioning for them to come into your humble apartment.
the heros walk in, listening as you lock the door behind them, soon enough your gentle footsteps follow. "be my guests" you gestured to the sofa, and they sat down.
it was a reletively small apartment, the living room consisted of a sofa and a small coffee table infront of it, a telly infront of the sofa. a balconey door on the side, and an open area to a nice, small kitchen, they both noted that in the kitchen was only a small table with 2 chairs, and outside in the balconey was only a small metal table with one chair.
the apartment was pretty clean and had kind of a minimalistic aestethic, a few green plants around, clearly well maintained and cared for. they also both noticed you didnt have much junk around, and only had shoes that belonged to you.
"tea? coffee?" you ask, and they nod, sitting down on the sofa as you turn around to the kitchen to boil water. aizawa looks around, not a single photo of you, your parents, or anyone, actually.
"does this feel a little...?" "weird?" all might finishes aizawas words as he sits down, his eyes roaming the apartment, looking for something he didnt know about.
"where are your parents {Y/N}?" aizawa asks, and without hesitation you call back from the kitchen, "work". aizawa nods, not convinced.
down on the coffee table were scattered your notebooks and papers and a mug full of tea, your phone. a morning paper and a book opened up but theres no cosmo type magazines.
the apartment seemed purely, your taste. not a hint of any mom-type rug, or a weird dad-type globe. "doubt..." all might breaths out as you walk from the kitchen with a tray with boiled water, and 2 more cups with coffee and tea bags.
you lean the tray on your hip and make place on the coffee table between your things to sat down the tray, yourself sitting down on the floor infront of the sofa. all might reachs forward and puts a tea bag in a mug with some water, aizawa does the same as you look around, eyes showing a little stress and uneasiness.
"can i ask, what youre here for?" you finally ask, looking at them questioningly. "we're here about the dorms" aizawa says tiredly. "oh right right... i saw something about that..." you mummble, rubbing your forehead with your hand.
"but if your parents arent here, we should come back another day..-" "no! its fine, you can leave the papers here... and ill get them to sign them later..." you smile gently, putting your hand on the table in a desperete attemp to stop them from leaving.
"could you tell me where the restroom is?" aizawa asks, and you nod, pointing to your left where theres a short corridor. "on the left" you whisper, and he nods, leaving you and all might to talk about the dorms.
"what do your parents do?" all might asks as he lifts his mug to his lips, "my mom... is a nurse... and my father is... a firefighter" you let out, gulping when you finish, and look down at the table again. all might hums and nods, looking around.
aizawa walks down the corridor carefully looking around, its pretty bare. he looks into the door on the right to find your bedroom. a big bed under a big window, a bedside table, a few plants around the room, a mirror and a closet, a desk and a chair on the side.
closing the door, he turns to the only other door in the corridor, the restroom. minimalist, clean, only one toothbrush in the cup on the sink. a big bathtub, white towels, a toilet. there are only your bathroom essentials.
he walks back to the sitting room and starts pacing slowly around it, looking around, "everything alright mr aizawa?" you ask, a little uncomfortable. "when are your parents coming back?" he asks. "late... late at night" you answer, looking between the two teachers with concern.
"right, and do they both sleep on this 3 seat sofa, or do they live at work?" he asks, and you flinch back, eyes growing wide. "im sorry?" you whimper. "they dont live in this house {Y/N}, theres only your bedroom and a restroom" aizawa explains, and all might looks at you, confused as well.
"where are they {Y/N}? they dont have a bedroom, or anything inside this house" aizawa beckons, sitting down and looking at you, waiting for your answer.
you looked between the two men infront of you, volnurable, back to the wall, nowhere to run. its been months of lying, and looks like now theres no way out.
"theyre dead"
your words send both men into a shocked state, leaning back with their mouths falling slack, eyes wide as they watched your blank face.
"im sorry..." all might goes first, avoiding your eyes at any cost. "what do you mean?" aizawa asks, looking down at his hands. "what do i mean by dead? its when the heart stops pum-" "not... that..." aizawa shakes hia head, looking at you again from his hands. "when? how come?" he asks.
"the fire at the hospital 5 years ago. my dad went in... to get my mom out. they both didnt made it, died from smoke inhilation poisoning and burn injuries" your breath became shaky as you spoke. it was the first time they saw any kind of emotion anywhere near your face.
the room fell silent and the air became thick as everyone avoided eye contact. "why didnt you tell anyone? how come you live alone without an adult? the government?" aizawa asks. "i dont need... anyones help. i made it without them by myself just great... legal guardian is my uncle but hes in america right now, apartment under his name" you spill, looking to the side, doing your best to mask your tears that are waiting to fall down.
"right... let me just sign it..." you whisper as one tear leaves your eye. "{Y/N}..." all might whispers, shaking his head, "you cant sign for yourself... we'll need to speak with your guardian..." he explains, watching as your whole tough and perfect demeaner changes into a voulnarable, sad girl, crying the day of her parents funeral. it was the first time since then you talked about it, revealed the truth.
"fine... we can send the-them to him..." you whimper, getting up and offering your hand forward to take the papers from them, but instead, aizawa grabs onto your hand and pulls you over to the sofa to his chest, wrapping his arms around you in a tight hug as you broke down and started crying, your hands coming up to cover your face as you felt all might hug you as well.
"im sorry..." you whimper, crying, "its fine..." "just let go..."
