LISA
FROM THE OUTSIDE of the room, I can hear them laughing. I couldn't help but to smile.
Jennie is inside too because I really insisted her. Luckily, she finally listened to me. Besides, I want to be alone.
But I guess, fate is really playing with me. Because when I thought that I can finally be alone since all of the squad are inside the room now, Jongin came and decided to stay with me. He's afraid that my friends might beat him up if he will go inside.
"You are here for Sehun. So go inside and don't be afraid." I coldly stated but he shook his head again. I groaned in annoyance.
"Lisa, I sincerely want to apologize again." It was just whisper but I was able to hear it clearly. I looked at him. "It caused you so much pain. After what happened, I decided to reflect on what I did. That's why I didn't show up for weeks. I am really sorry. I'm still regretting everything. I hope you can forgive me one day."
Jongin is such a sincere, mature, and honest person. He's handling everything with maturity and sincerity. Even if he has a fault on what happened, too, I still admire him for telling every single details to me.
But Jennie is just always apologizing. She didn't even bother to tell me how it started, what does she feel towards those time, but all she did is to apologize.
"While reflecting on what I did, I met this person who helped me realize everything. Jung Soojung. Also known as Krystal, I guess? Do you know her?" I shook my head so he continued. "She told me so many things that helped me reflect everything. I feel bad for letting my feelings eat me. I feel bad for giving up on stopping Jennie. Because at the end, I fell for her more. I swear, I didn't really mean to have that kind of connection with her because from the very beginning, I already knew that is was so wrong. That I shouldn't do it because I don't wanna see you hurting. But one day, it was too late for me to back out because I accidentally told Jennie that I love her, too. That's how it started. Everytime we're out for a date, I couldn't help but to regret telling her that words. I couldn't help but to feel guilty because I betrayed you. So I am so sorry."
"Thank you for telling those to me." It just came out from my mouth without me noticing it. But I didn't regret saying it. "Don't worry. Just give me some more time before I can finally forgive you for what you did." I forced a smile and patted his shoulder.
"You already forgave Jennie, don't you? Or not?"
"In just a matter of time, Kai. And I can finally forgive her. But I still want to distance myself."
"I'm sorry."
"For what? Look, if you are sorry for what Jennie did, don't be. You already apologized for yourself so don't bother apologizing on behalf of her."
"It's just that, I feel really bad seeing you hurting." He then bowed his head down.
"I'm fine. I'll...I'll be fine. Don't worry. Go inside. Sehun probably wants to see you."
"They're still inside. They might beat me up."
"They won't do that. So go now." In the end, he just obeyed me and just entered the room. I stood up and decided to grab some coffee. I want to be alone. I need some time alone.

Luckily, when I arrived at the nearest café, it's not crowded. And my favorite seat is stil vacant so I immediately sat there before I ordered an ice coffee. It's my favorite.
"Lisa?" I mentally rolled my eyes upon hearing Tzuyu's voice. It's not like I don't want to see her. I just want to be alone but fate is playing with me. First, Jennie. Then Kai. And now, Tzuyu.
I looked up and signaled her to sit infront of me so she quickly did.
"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be there with Sehun?"
"What about you? Why are you here?"
"I went to grab some coffee. They're still there with Sehun. Jennie and Kai are there, too. Anyways, why are you really here?"
"Like you, I went to grab some coffee also." I simply replied.
"Are you alright?" I nodded. "You know, you can tell me everything, right? I'm willing to listen."
"I'm fine. Don't worry." I assured her with a small smile.
I took a sip of my iced coffee. It's so refreshing.
"I want to apologize for pushing you guys away." I brought out as her order arrived. She took a sip first before speaking.
"You don't need to apologize. We understand you. Believe it or not, no one in the squad got mad at you for pushing us away. It's fine, Lisa." She seriously stated.
Tzuyu became close with my friends already. So she's automatically part of the squad now.
"Irene unnie got so worried about you so she's always contacting Jennie to know if you are doing well since Jennie was the only one you're talking to."
"I didn't want to talk to her also. But she's so persistent."
"But weren't you thankful to her for handling you even if it was hard?"
"I am. I'm so thankful. But I still need to be alone to recover from what happened. Now that Sehun is already awake, it will be a little easier for me now since I am sure that he is already safe." I stated and drank the rest of my coffee.
"Anyway, Mrs. Wang sent this to me and asked me to give this to you." She handed an envelope to me. I opened it and saw a letter so I quickly read it.
To Ms. Manoban,
I heard everything that happened. Even though my son didn't make it, I want to thank you because because of you, they finally captured my husband who committed the crime. And I want to apologize, too, on behalf of him. Sorry for what he did to your family. I hope, you and your parents will live with a peaceful life now since my husband is already in the prison. I hope, you are safe and also your friends who were with you and my son that time.

The letter kinda made me emotional but it also helps me ease the heavy feeling inside my heart.
"Do you want to stay here more? Or you'll go back now to the hospital?"
"Let's...let's go back now." And with that, we went back to the hospital together. Since it's already impossible for me to be alone, I decided to go inside Sehun's room. When I got inside, they're still there.
"Lisa!" They quickly hugged me tight. Okay what the hell. Are they trying to choke me to death?
"I-I c-can't breathe." I muttered.
"Oh gosh, I'm sorry!" Thankfully, they pulled away already.
"Yah, are you okay?" Irene unnie worriedly asked. I just answered her with a smile. I looked at Sehun who's looking at me, too.
"Where were you earlier? I'm looking for you." He then pouted. I approached him and patted his head.
"I just went out and grabbed some coffee. Tzuyu was with me."
"I thought you already went home."
"Why would I? I won't leave you like that." I said and gave him a small smile.
"Are you two together again? You guys looks so sweet." I heard Bambam said.
"Bam, please. Shut up." I told him with a serious tone so he quickly obeyed.
"Mom said that you will live with us for awhile so she can look after you. Lisa, are you okay? Are you taking care of yourself?" He worriedly asked. I bowed my head down. Not wanting to make an eye contact with him.
"She's so hard-headed. Not eating anything, just water. Staying on her bed all day and will just leave to visit you. But now that you're already awake, I hope she'll slowly go back to her old self." Irene unnie stated.
"Aigoo. Now I guess, Mom's idea is for the better."
We talked for a little more since Sehun missed a lot of things. He's smiling so bright like he didn't experience that accident. But it made me happy knowing that he's fine.

Sehun will be discharge tomorrow because he still need some rest. The squad already went home except from Kai. While I decided to go home, too, and take a rest. Jennie? Jennie came with me. I just let her. As I said, she's a persistent person. The more you push her away, the more she'll bother you.
"Let me cook our dinner. If you don't mind, can I sleep here? Jisoo unnie said, Chaeng and her will sleep on her parents' house."
"I don't mind. Do you want me to help you on cooking?" I asked.
"No thanks. Just go to your room and take a rest. I'll just call you when I'm done." She replied so I went to my room and threw myself on my bed. I took out my phone and decided to message Sehun's mom.
To: Mrs. Oh
Aunt, I think I won't take your offer anymore. Don't worry. I will take care of myself again. I promise. Besides, I don't want to be a burden. But still, thank you for offering me to live with you for awhile so you can take care of me. Have a good sleep, Aunt. See you tomorrow, I guess? Hehe.
The reason why I suddenly decided to not take her offer anymore is, I feel like I'm going to be a burden. I think it's better if she'll focus on taking care of Sehun. He's her son, after all. And also, just like what i promised, I will take care of myself again from now on. I need to move forward and continue living.
About Jennie, well, I think I will give her a chance to prove herself to me. I want to try again. Get mad at me all you want. But I really want to try again. Who knows? Maybe it will already work out this time. But if not, then it's fine. I'll accept whatever the result will be.
Now that Mr. Wang is in jail now, I think I can live with peace now. It's time to start a new life.
I suddenly felt my phone vibrated. Since I'm expecting that it's Mrs. Oh, I checked it but the message was from my mom.
From: Mom
My dear, we are here in SoKor. We're currently staying in our house here. You can come anytime you want. We'll stay here for a month or two. I love you and take care, sweetie.
I smiled upon reading the text. I guess, I should go there tomorrow and spend some time with them.
"Lisa, I prepared chicken and onion caesar salad! This food is healthy! Come on and let's eat!" I heard Jennie said from the kitchen so I quickly stood up and headed to where she is. She's already sitting. I sat on a vacant chair opposite to her.
"You prepared this in just 10 minutes?" She nodded.
"I'm expert at cooking, Lis. What do you expect?" She proudly said with that little smirk on her face. I mentally rolled my eyes and checked the taste of what she made.
"It's delicious. Thank you."
"Anything for you."
We quietly ate the food she made. Not gonna lie, she's really a good cook. She can be a chef now. I swear.
"Jennie, are you free tomorrow?" I asked, trying to hide my nervousness.
"Why? Do you want to go somewhere? I'm free. I can accompany you."
I cleared my throat first before speaking again.
"My parents are here in Korea and they're currently staying in our house here. They'll go back to Thailand after a month or two. I'm planning to visit them tomorrow. And I want you to come with me and meet them." I explained. She choked on her food so I quickly handed her a glass of water.
"You want me to meet them?!" I innocently nodded. "I mean, yes, I wanna meet your parents but you know what happened between us, right? We're...ahm...not together anymore." She awkwardly stated so I let out a chuckle.
"Just like what you said to me, we can still be friends. And with that, I want you to meet them. Don't worry, they won't eat you."
"Are you sure with that?"
"Sure with what? That they won't eat you? Ofcourse! Come on, I knew them well."
"It's not that! I mean, are you sure that you want me to meet them?" I nodded with a smile.
"Jennie, please. Besides, I have something to tell you tomorrow. It's important." I told her.
"Fine. If that's what you want." She then gave me a sweet smile.
We finished our food after that. She insisted to wash the dishes but I refused and said that she's my guest so I should wash instead. But again, she insisted. So in the end, I had no other choice anymore but to let her. But I stayed in the living room to quietly watch her. I don't even know why it suddenly came to my mind but I just want to watch her wash the dishes.
"It seems like you and Sehun are together again." She suddenly said. So, even her thinks that Sehun and I got back together.
"We're friends. Close friends. We're just that sweet to each other even before. Don't get the wrong idea."
"Hmm."
"What about you and Kai? You can tell me anything."
"Nothing is going on between us anymore. But I heard from him that he likes someone now. So you don't need to worry."
"Is that so?" I saw her nod. "Glad to hear that." She slowly turned to me with questioning look.
"Glad to hear what? That nothing is going on between us anymore? Or that he likes someone now?"
"Hmm, both?" I let out a small smile after that then looked away.
She still have the same effect on me. Nothing has changed.
"Maybe I should tell it to you now." I muttered but enough for her to hear it.
"Tell me what?" I looked at her and realized that she already finished washing the dishes. So since I'm sitting on the couch, she sat beside me and turned to me with the same questioning look.
"Or maybe I'll just tell it tomorrow?" I teased. She rolled her eyes but glared at me after that.
"Just tell it now!" She whined like a kid.
"Jennie, you're willing to wait, right?"
"Wait for what?"
"Just answer me."
"I am. I am willing to wait, Lisa. Even if it will take a year or more." She sincerely replied.
"Are you willing to regain my trust?" She nodded.
"I am, Lisa. Can you please just get straight to the point?" I softly chuckled.
"Alright. I'll give you a chance. One more chance. But if you breaks my trust again, then it's really over. I want to try again, Jennie. And I think, you know why. So please. I hope you will not do something wrong anymore." I seriously uttered. She teared up and tried to stop herself from crying. But she failed.
"Aigoo. Why are you crying? Don't you want to be with me anymore? Just tell me. I'll accept it." I said as I hugged her and caressed her hair to comfort her.
"I'm just happy. I'm so happy. Thank you for giving me another chance. I won't promise anything anymore. But I assure you, I won't break your heart anymore. Thank you, Lili." She said while crying.
"Shh. Stop crying now. I hate seeing you cry." I softly kissed her hair. I pulled away from her and wiped her tears away.
"Is...Is that the real reason why you want me to meet your parents?" I smiled and nodded.
"So stop crying now, Jen. Or else, I'll take back what I said." She playfully slapped my arm. I chuckled.
"How will I stop crying? You made me cry, you dumb."
"Aigoo. Such a baby." I kissed her forehead. "Jen, stop crying now, okay?" She nodded then wiped her tears. "You do look ugly whenever you're crying." She slapped my arm once again.
"Yah! Why are you like that?"
"I'm sorry. I love you." I kissed her forehead again after that.
I'm willing to take the risk. Because I'm sure that I made the right choice. I don't care if I'll get hurt again in the end. What's important is, Jennie is with me. And that's what matters.
