Chapter Thirty One: Anne

Anne's POV

"Tara Karylle, laban tayo dun!" sabi ni Vice at agad silang nagpunta sa dulo ng Timezone. 

It's Saturday today and this time, ako ang nagpunta sa office nila para sunduin silang dalawa. Wala kasi akong pasok tuwing Saturday, and Vice doesn't have his car today so I brought mine. Of course, I let Vice drive for us.

Yes, we're here at Timezone, we decided to go here first and have fun instead of having dinner. But obviously, they're the only ones having fun. I asked them to sing at the videoke but they decided to play basketball instead.

"Wow! Ikaw na! Ang galing mo ha" Vice said because Karylle's score is higher than his. "Rematch! Ano game?"

"No!" I demanded. "Akala ko ba kakanta na tayo after basketball?"

"Mamaya talaga promise. Wait lang rematch lang kami" Karylle said. And there, I felt like I looked stupid doing nothing and just watching them play that stupid game! Good thing there's a chair nearby, I sat there as I waited for them to finish playing. Ang nakakainis pa, nanalo si Vice so they agreed to play again for the third time for their tie breaker! 

Kanina pa ako naiinis sa kanilang dalawa. Naglalakad pa nga lang kami papunta dito, nauuna na silang dalawa sa'kin kasi may pinaguusapan sila. I think it's office-related  stuffs naman, kaya lang, they've been together for a long time naman na. Bakit 'di nalang nila pinagusapan kanina yun habang wala ako?

"Ohh! Panalo ako! Yes!" sabi ni Karylle na tuwang tuwa. Syempre natuwa din ako. 

"Yey! My girl won!" I said then held her arms. "Kakanta na tayo YEHEY!!"

"Vice, tara doon naman. Game ka?" Karylle asked Vice while pointing to the racing game. I frowned. I thought we're gonna sing na? She just ignored what I said earlier.

"'Di nga? marunong ka nyan?" Vice asked.

"Oo bakit? At nagda-drive rin naman ako ng kotse ha? Minsan nga lang"

"Talaga?"

"Oo. Yung kotse ni Anne. At minsan yung sa kapatid kong lalaki"

"Ahh. Sige game, tatalunin na kita dyan!"

"ASA!"

..and  there para na naman akong nawala sa paningin nilang dalawa. 

"Tabi tayo K"  sabi ko habang pinagkakasya ang sarili ko dun sa upuan nung racing game.

"Eh, mahihirapan akong mag-drive. Wait mo lang kami"  I frowned once again. Nakakainis naman 'tong dalawang 'to.

"Karylle! Ikaw feeling mo lalaki ka. 'Wag ka na maglaro" I said.

"Saglit lang 'to promise. Hmm... ano kayang kotse piliin ko"

"Sus kahit na ano piliin mo talo ka pa rin sa'kin K!" sabi naman ni Vice. Damn! Parang naging invisible na naman ako sa dalawang 'to. Kaasar!

"Karylle!!" I shouted but then she's just focused on that stupid racing game. I was ignored once again. I sighed then got the Timezone card from them. I decided to play by myself.

I went to an arcade game, Tekken in particular. I swiped the card five times. Hindi naman kasi ako talaga magaling sa larong 'to so I think I'll need lots of credits and... if will swipe many times, mauubos ang load at hindi na sila makakalaro. YEHEY!!

I was in the middle of the game when realized that Vice and Karylle was behind my back.

"Hahaha noob ka talaga Anne!"  Vice said, obviously teasing me with his tone.
