Chapter Four: Face Off

Anne was with Karylle on a covered court a few meters away from home. They were both having a good time talking and laughing with each other when suddenly; Vice approached her and pulled her away from the place. He was shocked when he realized that somebody was also pulling Anne to the other direction.

"Bitiwan mo nga siya" Karylle said as she pull Anne away from Vice

He just gazed upon the person pulling the other hand of Anne not obeying what the person said.

"Enough! Vice and K! will the both of you please stop!" Anne said in annoyance

Karylle and Vice just ignored every single word coming out from Anne's mouth. They were just glaring upon each other. There's a feeling of rivalry between the two of them.

"Vice! We broke up last night, don't you get it!? Bitiwan mo 'ko!" Anne said at the top of her lungs as she tried her best to pull her hand away from Vice's grip.

"You! Magkikita pa tayo!" he said pointing his finger on Karylle

He then let go of Anne leaving her with the 'guy' he just met.

Vice's POV

We broke up the night before that incident on the covered court happened. Akala ko kasi maayos ko lahat ng gusot sa pagitan namin. Until that day came...

FLASHBACK

"Vice, I don't think this relationship still gonna work." she said having a blank expression on her face

"But Anne—"

"Please— Vice. I've loved you but—. I'm sorry, I'm breaking up with you" she said as she hand over to me her ring.

Yes, we broke up. Pero 'di ako naniniwalang tapos na. Kaya 'di ako nagpaapekto sa sinabi niyang yun but instead, I came to visit her the next day. Surprisingly, she was on the covered court a few meters from her home with another guy.

Isang linggo na ang nakalilipas magmula nung huli kaming nagkita ni Anne at ng engkwentro namin ng... lalaking yun... lalaki? I really don't think he's a guy, may umbok e. Oh yeah don't get me wrong, 'di lang naman kasi yun yung napansin ko sa kanya, nung nagsalita kasi siya parang pinipilit lang naman niyang lakihan yung boses niya. Lalaking lalaki ang porma niya pero mukha naman siyang bakla.

"Mr. Viceral!" napalingon naman ako sa lalaking tumawag sa akin

"Oh, Billy kanina ka pa ba?"

"Oo. Wala ka yata sa sarili mo e."

Yeah right. Nandito ako ngayon sa opisina ko. Lumilipad na naman ang isipan ko.

"Okay, ano'ng kailangan mo Crawford?"

"Tanong ko lang. May balita ka ba kay Miss Kris? Kailan ang balik niya?"

"Uhmm.. as far as I know she's in New York, I think she'll be back in another month or two.. I'm not so sure.. basta na-extend ang pagkawala niya. Why?"

"Then I guess, isa ka sa kailangan ko konsultahin regarding our applicants" Billy said as he presented me three folders  "We have three applicants, Miss Zoe Tuazon, Miss Maddie Avilon and Miss Karylle Tatlonghari" Billy continued as I scanned the resume inside each folder

 I stopped and stared at Miss Tatlonghari's resume. She looks familiar.

"Sige na Billy you may go. I'll review this first... and by the way, nagawa na ba ni Archie yung pinapagawa ko sa kanya?" I looked at Billy waiting for him to answer.
