When Kiefer and Mika arrived at his condo unit, he was still moody. Sya ung parang buntis na naglilihi sa sungit. But for Mika, she just shrugged it off coz she's used to Kiefer's mood swings. She knew that his trying to protects her.
"Kief mukhang wala ka sa mood po. Uwi na lang ako. Text ko na lang si Ara or Aly papasundo ako." She said while smiling like a little girl who wants to have a candy. Sa totoo lang inaasar nya lang si Kiefer. Bigla kasi may pumasok sa utak nya na subukan paaminin eto kung nakakaramdam din ba eto ng selos kapag may guy na nag aattempt na manligaw sakanya.
"Dito ka lang Babe di ka uuwi." He said. Nakabusangot pa din si Manong. Lagot ka sakin Ravena. Aamin ka din.
"Eh natext ko na si Ara, papasundo na ko. May topak ka naman eh." She said while trying to hide her smile by biting her lower lip.
"Tatawag ako kay Ara wag ka sunduin. Iistorbohin mo pa un may date un kay Thomas tonight." He said. Patay! Lalo sumimangot. Konti pa Mika Aereen aamin na yan si Manong.
"Eh di magtataxi na lang ako." Then she stood up and walks to the door.
"Isa Mika ha. Wag nga makulit. Alam mong buntis ka eh." He said in a much higher tone in his voice. After she heard that she felt a victory inside her heart. Olats si Manong. Aamin na yan. Konting gatong pa.
"Eh bakit ba kasi ang sungit mo? Anu ba ginawa ko sayo? Di ka naman siguro nagseselos kay Kristian." She said then raised her right brow and crossed her arms infront of him.
"Hindi ako masungit. Gutom lang ako at di ako nagseselos. Kilala mo ko, I'm just protecting you." He calmly said now.
Mika felt sad when she heard those words from Kiefer. Kaw kasi eh assumera ka din eh. Sabi na nga kahit mabiyak ang lupa di maiinlove sayo si Manong. Just accept it na bestfriend ka nga lang eh, bonus na lang si baby. Makulit ka din kasi ngayon anu ouch sa heart! Then after that thoughts she composed herself and speaks again.
"Alam mo if may manligaw man sakin ok lang yun. Kasi single naman ako eh. Yung baby ko if tatanggapin nya eh di another daddy yun." She said then flashes her signature smile. So dahil di ka nagseselos ok, maasar ka lalo Ravena!
"Anung another daddy pinagsasabi mo. Ako lang ang daddy nyan. Ako gumawa nyan kya ako lang ang pwede tawagin na daddy nyan." Kiefer was shouting already. Patay! Hala ka Mika Aereen napikon na talaga si Manong. He was really mad now.
"Ok..ok..ok.." She said then touch his both cheeks.
Mika was trying to calm him down. Kiefer was still furious bout what she said a while ago that's why he was not looking at her even if she was already holding his both cheeks. Then later on Mika cried. Naiyak sya kasi kilala nya kasi kapag galit na si Kiefer and she was thinking na baka maulit na naman ung nag away sila dati na di sya kinakausap. Kasi ang dami mo alam Mika Aereen tapos in the end kaw din pala ngangalngal.
"Sorry Babe. Shhh stop crying. Sorry if I acted stupid and shouted you." He said then grabbed and hugged her tightly. Mika just continued crying not because he shouted at her but this time,umiiyak na sya kasi umasa kasi sya may selos na napifeel si Manong para sakanya pero wala talaga. Never nya na talaga siguro masasabi na love nya si Ravena.
"Shhh stop it please. Makakasama kay baby yan. Sorry na po." He said while caressing her back. Gago ka din kasi Ravena eh. Uso naman umamin na nagseselos ka. Tapos nag inarte ka pa. Anu ba kasi kinakatakot mo? You think you will lose her? You think you will just hurt her? You think your not capable enough to love her? You think she don't love you? Why don't you ask her first, about her feelings for you? Puro ka kasi iwas eh magiging tatay ka na nga ayaw mo pa magtanong. Wag kang duwag. Mahal mo? Aminin mo. Di ka makakakuha ng sagot kung di ka magtatanong. Then he took a deep sighed after that thoughts.
"Babe hmm I wanna say something po." He was still caressing Mika's back. They were sitting on the sofa now. Mika's head on his shoulder and her arm on his chest, holding his shirt.
"Hmm" She mumbled.
"Babe look at me please". After he said that to her, Kiefer touched her chin to meet her gaze and only to found out that she was sleeping already. Mika naman eh! Aamin na nga eh tinulugan mo naman kainis! Then he hissed out of frustration.
He carried Mika to his room. Changed Mika's clothes into pajama and tucked in her to bed. Lastly he kissed Mika's forehead and lips. Then again uttered those three words that he was hiding inside his heart for a long time.
"Goodnight Babe. I love you."
He was thinking that maybe tonight, it's not that right time to finally admit that he was really inlove with his bestfriend. Maybe soon or one day but not tonight.
For almost 8 years of hiding and denying it, now he can't believed that he was waiting for the right chance and time to be able to tell it to Mika. Bahala na love or hindi sya ni Mika basta aamin na sya. Di sya papayag na may manligaw ulit na iba at lalo di sya papayag na may ibang guy na tatawagin ng baby nya ng Daddy. Mapepektusan nya talaga. This time he will protects her not because of concern or by treating her as a little sister but now he will protects Mika because of love and jealousy. He knew how territorial he was when it comes to Mika. And he will claims it......
