No One's Perspective:

Lillian sat next to Lindsay in Transfiguration the next day. Fred was behind them, and Cedric sat with Anna to the right.

"Now that you have all studied human transfiguration very thoroughly, I would like you to try a spell non-verbally." Professor McGonagall began to walk up and down the rows of her students.

Lillian waved her wand, concentrating on the spell.

"Your eyes are green now, Lily!" Lindsay giggled.

Lillian smiled and waved her wand again to turn her eyes back to bright blue. Lindsay tried next and successfully turned her eyes from a grey-blue to a deep purple and back.

"Wonderful job, girls," McGonagall said when Lindsay and Lillian performed their spells for her. "You may begin your essay. Write twelve inches of parchment on human transfiguration of the eyes and the mishaps that can occur when it's not done properly. Mr. Weasley it seems," McGonagall turned toward Fred, "Should have done the essay prior to practicing the spell."

Fred's eyes had gotten very big and had turned a disgusting shade of yellow. With a flick of her wand, McGonagall turned Fred's eyes back to their normal shade of blue. Shaking her head, she moved on to the next student.

On the way out of Transfiguration, Lillian nudged Lindsay away from Fred.

"I think we should become anamagi, Linds," Lillian said. There was a twinkle of mischief in her eyes.

"But we'd have to get registered through the Ministry to do that," Lindsay noted.

"Unregistered anamagi, Lindsay," Lillian rolled her eyes playfully.

Lindsay pondered this for a moment as they walked toward their next class.

She grinned, "That would be very fun to do, Lily. We could prank the twins a lot! Let's go to the library tonight and research it after we do our homework."

Lillian nodded. "Good idea!"

They rushed into Charms and sat with Fred and Cedric. Professor Flitwick instructed them to work on their summoning charm without saying it out loud. Sixth years usually began working with nonverbal spells, and Lillian and Lindsay were already fairly proficient in the art.

Lindsay's Perspective:

Lillian and I sat in the library that evening doing our homework together. Fred and George had sat with us for a little bit before running off to the Gryffindor common room where they planned to come up with more jokes for their joke shop. Somehow, I had a feeling they weren't exclusively making jokes.

As we sat doing our schoolwork, Lillian and I didn't speak much. We both knew that we did our best work when focused, however, we enjoyed sitting together, even in silence.

Finally, Lillian rolled up the piece of parchment she had been writing on and shoved it in her bag. I closed the book I was reading, and we both pulled out a new piece of parchment for some notes.

"So, what have you come up with?" I asked with a mischievous grin, and possibly an evil glint in my eyes.

Lillian looked up at me with the pale face I had become so familiar with. I knew something was going on with her.

She sat back, and her face lit up with a sly grin. "You go first, Linds. I know you've been doing your research."

I smiled. "Well, I'm glad you asked. I already found a stack of books on anamagi. I thought we could go through them and write down any information that we find. It could be helpful."
