"And you were swinging back and forth, telling me 'Let goooo!'," he told me and I turned bright pink from embarrassment. "I almost dropped you."
"I can't," I told him, hiding my face and emptying the water from the bucket to refill it with more water. I finally poured some detergent and bent down to pull my pants up. I went into the water, stepping on the blankets to wash them rhythmically with the soles of my feet.
My feet made squishy noises when a shadow moved and I saw Jisung pulling up the ends of his pants, flashing me a gummy smile before stepping closer. I froze, Jisung's hands going to my waist as he balanced himself, Jisung pressing the soles of his feet against the blanket over and over again.
The thing about Jisung was how he made everything feel so simple. He chuckled to himself and I saw him staring at the bubbles rising to the surface of the water. I found myself smiling at his facial expression when Jisung let out for a moment and I felt almost lost my balance, my arms flailing in the air.
"Park Jisung!" I gasped, my hands going around in small circles in the air when Jisung's eyes widened and he grabbed me with both arms, my face slamming against the crook of his neck as he tightened his arms around me to stop me from falling.
And for a moment there, my heart skipped a beat.

"But to answer your question, if I had to commit a crime to protect you, I would."
"You would?" I asked, surprised. Jisung smiled, his eyes fluttering close.
"You need to go and do it on your own, KBS. It's your article. It's your news." Jisung said and I trembled. I was a journalist, not a reporter! An inexperienced one at that, I have never been in front of the camera before.
"Jisung—"
"Just do it, KBS. You can use my tagline."
"I'm not going to do it—"
"KBS," Jisung grabbed me to look at me, a hand going to take a lipstick out of his pocket and swiping it across my lips. "I am Park Jisung, and I have news for you."
"I'm not doing it!"
"Listen to me, KBS. I'm Park Jisung and I have news for you," he repeated.
When he was done, he put the lipstick back in his pocket.
"And I like you," he finished; my eyes widening.
