A/N: school took so long and I had so much homework, so I might just update on weekends and free moments. Also I've had this illness before and I also have asthma so it sucked big time. PLEASE SEND IN REQUESTS!!!

When I went to bed early with a slight headache, the last thing I expected was to be awoken at 2:38am coughing up a lung. It sounded like I was barking, and the noise bounced off the small walls of my apartment. I sat up slowly and swung my legs over the side of the bed. I slowly trudged out of the room and into the small kitchen. I filled up a glass with water and leaned against the counter. I was about halfway through when I heard a knock at the door. I was quite confused, but I slowly walked over and looked through the peephole. Liam was standing there with tears streaming down his face. I opened the door and he immediately gave me a huge bone crushing hug. I turned my head away from him and started coughing again. He pulled back and wiped his tears before going into "daddy direction mode." Whenever any of us were unwell he couldn't help but turn into a parent.

Li: h-hey you o-okay - he said stuttering over his words

I shook my head and walked back towards the tiny couch.

Lou: what's wrong - i croaked before coughing again

Li: i-i could ask y-you the same t-thing - he said, trying to control his breathing

Lou: come on, don't make me ta- *cut off by coughing* talk again

Li: I don't want to t-talk about it right now

I nodded and put my head on his chest

Li: Where's Haz?

Lou: studio

Li: still? It's almost 3:00am

Lou: he said he's gonna sleep there inst-

I started coughing again, but this time it burned like crazy

Li: get that all out mate. Sounds nasty - he said patting my back

Lou: thanks

Li: alright, that's enough outta you. I'm gonna call H, and you are officially on vocal rest

I nodded and placed my head on his shoulder. I heard the phone ringing and Liam put it on speaker.

H: hello? - he yawned

Li: Hey Haz, can you come on home?

H: umm I could. Why?

Li: Lou isn't doing too well

H: aww no. what's wrong?

Li: he's got a nasty cough and I can feel his fever through my shirt

H: shit, alright I'll be there soon

Lou: thanks - i said coughing again

H: aww love stop talking. I'll be there soon. I love you

Li: thanks Haz

I felt the exhaustion take over me, but I kept on coughing like my body didn't want the sleep. I finally let my eyes flutter shut on Liam's shoulder, but I woke up again when the door shut.

H: hey boo - he whispered

Lou: hi

Li: he was asleep, but besides that he's been pretty miserable

Harry clicked his tongue sympathetically and rubbed his hand up and down my arm. I nose twitched and I sneezed a triple into my elbow.

Li: bless you
