Celeste's POV:
I woke up in the best mood. I was finally 16, nearly an adult! Hopefully Asher sees me as more mature, maybe after tonight...

I wonder if everyone was here yet.
Pursing my lips, I tried to listen for other voices, but couldn't hear any. I should probably get ready now, just in case.

After getting in the shower, I picked out some black, ripped jeans, a black hello kitty top, a long sleeve fishnet top and some doc martens.
I spent extra time doing my hair today, styling my curls so that they would frame my face nicely.

Celeste's outfit:

Whilst styling my Afro, I couldn't help but wonder why Ambrose or Dad haven't woke me up yet

Whilst styling my Afro, I couldn't help but wonder why Ambrose or Dad haven't woke me up yet.
They wouldn't forget, would they?

Of course not Celeste, stop being stupid.

I huffed, checked myself in the mirror one last time, seeing as Asher could be down there, then made my way downstairs.

It was really quite, like nobody was here... they did forget.

"Ambrose!" I shouted as I walked through the hallway, but there was no reply.

I glanced into the kitchen to see it was empty.
What the hell?

"Dad!" I screamed as loud as I could as I went towards the fridge to get myself an apple juice box.

Hmm, nobody was here.
I couldn't stop my bottom lip from quivering, and my eyes from watering as I suddenly felt extremely sad. It was my sixteenth birthday, and I was all alone.

I sniffled as I turned around, then screamed in shock and dropped my juice. Everyone was here, stood in the kitchen.

"Happy birthday." They all shouted together.

Wes, Nate, Mateo, Elijah, Ambrose, Carter and Toni.
Wait, where's dad and Asher?

"I thought you guys forgot about me, AND you scared me!" I scolded them as I picked up my juice box and frowned at the small puddle that dropped onto the floor, whilst they laughed.
