I get so tired of having to defend Twice from antis such as Blonks. Like the audacity that these, dare I say it, "fans" have trying to put down Twice.

If you're going to put down Twice then at least do your research before using the excuse of "popularity" for Blackpink to bring down Twice.

Because guess what, if Popularity really mattered, why aren't Blackpink actually winning any awards in America? And if you want to go big like these Blonks have the audacity of going, Grammy's.

Here's what a Blonk said to me on Instagram after I defended not just Twice, but all the groups that won these daesangs.

In a non- condescending way, I was surprised to see Momoland on here but anyways stan Daisy ( although she's not in the group anymore ).

Anyways, congratulations to these groups right? Like they deserve these daesangs. Anyways I made a statement, picture below...

I personally think that there's more components to being "popular" and that if you're popular then it helps you get awards. But the audacity of a Blonk leaving this comment...

Anyways...this person has clearly not done his research and thought he could come at me with irrelevant banter and no facts to back up his claim. ( No doubt that BP is more popular in America ) but what he said about Twice not even reaching Billboard is a complete lie. So I respond to this and I damn well backed it up with facts.

One, I will admit that I shouldn't have said "that your group can't make it bigger in the country they were formed in" because that's just...I apologize for that. Blackpink does well in South Korea just as they do in America and I shouldn't have said that.

But back to what I provided. Twice has indeed made it to Billboard and had made it to #1 with their Twicegram album.

So don't use the "popularity" excuse with me. It's not about popularity. It's about what you can sell through your albums.

The revenue sold and the amount of streams is the ticket to earning a spot on Billboard in the first place.

That's why Justin Bieber was trying to shove "Yummy" down our throats with, "Stream my song Yummy. Stream Yummy". It's his job as an artist no matter the rank of popularity, to promote his song/album through sales and streams.

Anyways, I have respect for Blinks who don't tear down other groups whether it be Twice or RV or other groups.

But Blonks don't deserve respect and I don't care if I call them out. They make the fandom look bad, so quit your toxic shit. Blinks don't claim you and Once won't tolerate you.

If I have to go on another rant to defend Twice then I damn sure will. Twice didn't work their asses off for five damn years for you to disrespect their name and the awards they won. So again, try to come for them and you'll get facts thrown at you. -Drea
