Chapter 26

We walked towards the school Me, Amanda and Selena. Selena would take the taxi to her school when we go inside it was her idea and Amanda went with it although I declined the idea because she will only get to her school a bit tired but she didn't mind. We walked inside the school and all eyes were on us until Amanda pushed me into the toilet and got into one toilet together.

"I have to tell you something" Amanda said impatiently

"What's that?" I asked not sure if I want to hear the answer to my question

"I think I'm the reason why the school kids are looking at us" I raised one eyebrow so that she could elaborate her statement "I broke my friendship with Amelia and she wasn't really happy about that and maybe she told the entire school about my problems or our little secret" she whispered the last part but could see exhaustion in her face.

"I'll always be by your side, no matter what" I said while taking her hand and walking out of the to our classroom, with those stares we managed to still make jokes and walk to the class. Blue entered the class and came to our sit.

"You guys okay?" He asked and we looked at each other and laughed before nodding our heads and he was surprised "so you guys haven't heard?"

"What?" I asked while taking out my reading book and going through the pages

"Someone told the school about Amanda's.."

"Miscarriage, you can say it" and he nodded slowly

"And you being admitted to the hospital along with the photos with your face after the incident" and handed out the picture and I could see if it was me and I think they kept it away when I was recovering because I would obviously go back to being depressed. Amanda looked at me with pity and I knew she would blame herself for that so the classroom was busy getting filled with learner of our class and some that were going to show others who we were and Amelia walked in and stood up in front of the class.

"Hey, listen up I know you guys have heard stories and some are true and I was admitted to the hospital and that's not any of your business and tell whoever that is telling this that those chapters have been closed and we healed from it and if anyone has something to say just say it our face." I said confidently while staring at Amelia coldly and Amanda came with Blue and gave me the same warm hugs and school began and everything was normal, little stares here and there but nothing we couldn't handle and we went to eat at the stairs

"I need to ask you something" Amanda said and I looked at her waiting for the question "why did you not arrest your father?" She asked more concern and I really didn't expect that "you don't have to answer if don't want to"

"Because he ran away but I'm planning to go make a statement on Friday" I said and she just nodded but I'm not sure to do it or not maybe I should or maybe I shouldn't, I still fear that he's looking at me somehow "why is your brother being so distance?" I asked loudly than expected

"I really don't know he won't tell me anything because he knows I'll be tell you" I just nodded and the day went well as expected and bitterly

"I don't know" is all she could answer and we then talked about other things throughout the break.

It was already Friday afternoon and decided to finish Lara's letter for some reason and I haven't heard from Craig since that day at the park with Selena . I opened it and looked for the last part I read

I'll always be by your side even there physically but we used to look upon the moon and wish that we could have a big family but I told we couldn't, well we do have a family from our mother's side but they aren't talking because our mother choose our sperm donor over them. One day the sperm donor came so drunk she beat my mother while 7 months pregnant with the you, I thought you died that's why you are a premature but never told you the actual story and our grandmother was there too. you were rushed to the hospital and were suffering incubator for months and there was nothing I could do. Our grandmother took me in but after two days the sperm donor came holding a gun and I knew he would shoot, I hid behind grandpa because I didn't want to leave and he shoot him and I couldn't believe and he just dragged me and on our way home we heard that her kidney was badly damaged and my grandfather died from the gun shoot and our grandmother gave your mother her kidney and she survived after she had healed completely I thought maybe she would go back to her mother but instead she cut them off and choose that son of a bitch over her own mother even though she heard that he killed his father but that wasn't enough for her. She gave me her numbers for when I get older I could come and i wrote them at the back of the paper. I know our father isn't really fond of you and has the capability of killing if you get the chance run far away from him run and never look back. I love you so much Luna. I sobbed and to tried to call Craig and he didn't answer and Amanda was with Blue and I left her a voice message and Selena got in and told me someone is here to see me and I told her to tell him to get through and i thought it was Craig. I missed him so much and I just wanted to tell him that I loved so much and cry in his shoulder but instead it was Matt

"Hi princess" he said while walking up to me and he saw I was not fine at all and just embraced me into a tight hug "what happened?" He sounded more concerned and hurt and I gave him the letter and he just read it until he was done and told me everything was going to be okay but when?
He then took a mirror and showed me myself "you still look beautiful with tears in your eyes" and he put it in front of my face and cracked into laughter
"I wanna take you out tomorrow" he said and I told him it's fine and we talked until late and he left.
