INSTAGRAM FILTER — there were four of the eight members that were, and have been, called out for wearing hats in every interview, show, picture, video, etc. they were referred to as the 'hat line' by the fans because they were clearly hiding what was underneath their hats for their upcoming single release.
namjoon, taehyung, jimin and sunny were the four of the eight.
in the instagram filter video of the members testing/showing off the filter, you could see namjoon's platinum blonde sideburns as well as jimins. taehyung, on the other hand, was called out for wearing a large bucket hat with fake hair coming from the back from an interview/show they appeared on in promotion for their map of the soul: the journey japanese album. it was hilarious to the fans and he wore a similar, if not the same, large bucket hat for the instagram filter, covering whatever was underneath that bucket hat. sunny, having long hair this comeback, had her long hair down over her shoulders, hiding the top of her head with a furry bucket hat. it seemed almost pointless because most of her hair was showing, but fans were still freaking out over it.
