Pet Peeves With Fanfiction Part 10

Lack of continuity: Your story can not take place in the 1980s and still include modern shit unless it's a AU

Gender bending: Why did they're gender suddenly change? No reason

Rape scene by some miracle suddenly becomes consensual: I can literally NEVER understand what the author is trying to do with this

Slow burn romance where almost nothing happens: DO SOMETHING

Character dies and is introduced in a new world: Why? No clue

Adding in a new bloodline/superpower just to make the character godlike: Again, this makes the villain look like a complete and utter joke

Character is healed from ALL trauma just because they got laid: .......why? Just why?

Orginal Character outshines the established characters even though they have very little or no experience and training: Not. Even. Close. To. Possible.

X reader fanfics: This is kinda the same as Y/N for me. And they ALWAYS end up acting differently then how you would actually act.

Overly described Characters: Just give me the hair and eye color and the type of clothing they are wearing, hell ill deal with the body type being described but some authors end up spending WAY to much time for the characters look
