So I've seen multiple videos about the idea of shipping people in real life.
I'm actually not against it. I don't even think it's all that bad until it starts to get out of hand:
For example:
When you confuse fiction for reality: This is when people make videos about "evidence" that a ship is real (like Larry and Fillie)
When the significant other gets involved: People legitimately thought Louis Tomlinson son's birth was a fake and just a way to veer away rumors about a secret relationship between him and Harry Styles
When you end up INVOLVING the actual people: Now I REALLY don't understand this one. Why would you want to let the person you ship with someone KNOW that? I would be MORTIFIED if any of the people I've written about seen my stories.
I don't even ship people who are real, I just write the stories and even still I never do smut. 1st because I can't write it and I don't think I can personally write them to have sex with each other.
(No I am not against reading smut. I do it all the time, just not for me personally)
In other words, you do you but please have limits. Respect the person/people privacy. And for the love of God, STOP trying to force it to happen. It's not gonna happen. Louis wasn't dating Harry, Finn isn't dating Millie, etc etc etc
