This isn't where I talk about issues and politics because this is kinda my escape from the real world and I don't want the two to clash, but I'd be mad if I didn't.
If you couldn't tell by my profile pic, I am black and I do a lot of activism outside of this. I am privileged enough to have a lot of followings on different platforms. I know you all have probably been flooded with news about George Floyd (#JusticeforGeorgeFloyd). But please, please click on the link in my bio, sign the petitions, donate, keep up to date, educate yourself about this issue because at this point me as well as so many black Americans are sick of us dying simply because we have melanin in our skin.
And I wrote something that gives light on the black experience in America in my rant book. It's called 'Dear Life, What the Heck?' It would mean a whole LOT if you checked it out.
Right now, I need a break. I don't know, I can't even write anything other than educating people on how America is built on systemic racism and oppression that has its footing in today's society. So everything on my account will probably be on hold for the time being. I just can't. I've lost friends to this same exact thing. Thank you for your understanding.
