Melody's pov.
"MELODY!" I look up from my book to see Hermione running into the dormitory.
"Mione," I yelled back.
"I missed you."
"I missed you too." Hugging for maybe a little too long we finally break away, as we sit down on my bed Hermione tells me about her winter holiday. Hermione and her parents went to Australia to visit their grandparents.
Sadly she couldn't tell her grandparents about going to Hogwarts, so she had to lie about going to a boarding school. But she did tell them about her friend's and our group 'The Golden Four', a nickname I started.
"I also bought you something," Hermione gets up from the bed going towards her trunk. Coming back she holds a small package.
"I know it's not much but here." She handed me the package and I gasped.

"Hermione," I cried as a tear slides down my face. "I love it."
"The gold one's mine and silver one's yours," Hermione wipes a few tears away. "I know how much you like the color silver."
"I do," I sniffle. "Thank you, I love it so much." I pull her into her embrace.
