My therapy was for 8 months and now I'm here where I should be.

Kevin's emotions were all over the place and his expression was worth it. I learned few things before coming here, Kevin works in London now and Xander is married to Rosalyn. Shocked? Join the club. Well, they married in a Marriage Registrar Office. Xander was always an impatient kid, when he wanted something he wanted it as early as possible.

I come back to the moment when I feel Kevin's hands on me. He looks exceptionally sexy today. He is dressed in a charcoal black three-piece business suit which is specially tailored for his body and doing great work of showing off the time he invested in the gym and his hair is set to perfection but what makes him more handsome is the smile on his face and I'm blessed because it's because of me and for me.

"Check me out all you want but meet your family first" he winks and I want to kiss him right now. His wink is a sexy contrast to his businessman suit.

I roll my eyes and walk to my parents who are still in shock but their happiness can't be unnoticed. It seems they know something is changed. Well, they are all up for a shock.

I hug my dad first.

"Dad!"

"Shhh! " he just hugs me for minutes and then assesses me for any injury or changes.

"I thought we would have to wait for 3 years" he whispers, glancing at Kevin.

"He is bad at assumptions" I roll my eyes at Kevin and hug Dad again.

"Don't speak as if you didn't want him to trouble" Mom points out from behind.

I pull out of Dad's embrace and turn to Mom.

She is standing at a good distance from me and I know her hands are itching to reach out but she doesn't want to make me uncomfortable.

It's been 8 years since I haven't hugged my mother. I'm that unfortunate.

I smirk at Kevin and signal him to stay where he is. He stops midstep. I take purposeful steps towards her.  She steps back in reflex. My eyes search for her arm that I had bruised.

"Hey! It's not what you think. Don't blame yourself, I just want you to be comfortable. Look, Xander and Alex is back with Rosalyn and Xaiyla"

I shake my head and smile at her words. Always thinking of others before herself. I can't fathom her level of selflessness. How could someone hate this beautiful woman?

"Mom, may I hug you?" I ask and stop in my tracks because I want her to trust me.

She hesitantly heads towards me and I hug her with all I have.

The feeling is above this world. I can't explain how it feels to hug my mother after so long. The warmth of motherly love radiating off her body is spreading all over my body.

She hugs me tightly. She is so strong.

"Is this happening?" I sense wonderment in her shaky voice.

"I think it's happening" I kiss her forehead and she gasps in shock.

"I can't take any more surprises. How?" her bright green eyes are wide with happiness.

"We'll talk about this later" I whisper to her and she nods in understanding.

"How's married life treating you, bro?" I hug Xander.

"It's annoying as you are but I'm happy to see you" he always has a way with words. He just admitted he is happy to see me and he is also happy in his married life but I bet Rosalyn doesn't understand the meaning behind his words.
