#8 Sheryl Miller

As I mentioned before I'm a huge basketball fan. There wasn't many stars 2 look up 2 when I was little but there was Sheryl Miller for those familiar with 90s basketball you've heard of her little brother Reggie.

Sheryl was a star is high school and college there was no WNBA for her because once the league was established she was past her prime. She became a coach and taught generations of young women the game. All the players young women look up 2 now no doubt looked up 2 Sheryl Miller as I did. Sheryl was inducted into the Basketball Hall Of Fame in 1995.

Sheryl is an example of the many ways women can be successful outside of so called gender norms. Me being a tomboy of course I saw myself following that path but hurting my knee ruined that.
