I know I'm behind a day but here's my next pick.

#7 Florence Griffin Joyner aka Flo Jo

As most of u know I love sports and I was very good at them basketball and football believe or not. Those weren't options growing up 2 make a career but 1 was Track and Field. Watching the Olympics I seen her and instantly became a fan. Flo Jo was so fast and stylish while dominating.

I was fast as hell when I was younger better than people that ran track like my cousin Bonita and the entire Glenville High school track team. My parents didn't even support my playing basketball so I didn't bother running because track is much more involved.

I always look forward 2 the games 2 watch Track and Field that love grew from watching her. She made it look so easy I couldn't believe I'd like 2 think that running threw the streets of east 105 in Cleveland Ohio I did 2 because no 1 could catch me and I took great pride in that.

In 1988 she set world records in the 100 and 200 m that still stand to this day making her the world's fastest woman. 9/21/98 she died in her sleep just 5 days after my 18th birthday 3 of the people on my list died on or near most days 4 me 🥺
