The world was made aware of what Minneapolis already knew the man who became is own music genre who's influence reaches in2 every from of music and culture. Took his rightful place.

What we also seem 2 forget about 1984 some weren't born some 2 young 2 be aware Prince not only had the #1 Movie, album and single at the same time 1st in history but he also wrote and produced Shelia E, The Time, V6/A6 and Chaka Khan which should have made him producer of the year in the 1985 awards cycle but it didn't and that's the politics of the business most aren't aware of. I heard it would be mentioned in his memoirs but who knows.
