the younger watched as changbin's eyes grew wide. he didn't know what to take that as but he hoped that it could somehow lead him somewhere - he didn't want to be uncertain about it.
changbin tightened his hold of the drink while his eyes stared deeply into the others, his lip slightly parted away after hearing what he had just said. it wasn't like he was completely against it or anything but the fact that the question had entirely threw him off, he didn't think he would be asked by the younger himself.
and that itself caused him to feel a strange feeling he hadn't felt before. he didn't know how to describe it however, somehow he could sense that it was something positive; he couldn't hold onto the feeling anymore, causing him to instantly beam at the younger.
"i-i mean... you don't have to but-" jisung started but was immediately cut off by changbin.
"sure." the brown haired male looked up to see a massive, bright smile on his face. that alone plastered a small yet relieved smile on his face, anyone could tell that he was glad he had asked the question; there was a small part of him that was unsure whether or not it was a good idea but after hearing how contented he was, he couldn't help but feel emotionally closer towards him.
the more he interact with the older, the more his view changed about him bit by bit. he had to admit that he wanted to be with the other right now which was the main reason why he asked. was it possibly a new start between them? changbin wasn't sure but he knew for sure that everything was slowly starting to change and he could tell that the younger felt the same.
things were improving and no one could tell how pleased he was; he had always wanted to make up with the younger and now that he felt as if it was becoming true, he knew that there was always hope awaiting for them. all they had to do is believe and have faith in it and hopefully things would go the way they always wanted.
"a-are you sure... w-what about chan hyung?" jisung spoke with a worried tone, a small sparkle could be seen through his eyes. despite feeling so relieved about him agreeing to the whole idea, he couldn't help but have second thoughts about it.
"chan would have to wait." he smiled and replied with no hesitation. the other didn't say anymore about it and instead, nodded as he decided to let it go - he didn't want to push the older any further than he already has.
"o-okay..." the younger responded, his small smile coming back while looking down at the floor underneath him. although changbin couldn't see the smile clearly, he could still see it from the corner of his eyes, making him smile wider.
