"Sarah, he's coming for the opening. You should tell him." I think he has a right to know. If it was me I would want to know.

Sarah shakes her head. "Thanks for the warning. I'll stay clear for the weekend. Tell him.... don't tell him anything."

"Sarah...." I try again but she keeps walking away from me.

Resigned I head back to Charlie. I know she's going to have plenty of questions for me. Walking through the store to the tea aisle I see her just standing there holding tight to the cart and her belly.  She's breathing heavy and her face is pale.

Fuck! Fuck!

"Charlie?" I run down to her and take her into my arms. Her body leans into mine and I know instantly this is it.

Our world took a massive nosedive losing Natalie. She was the glue of our family and it's shattered my dad. Charlie and I haven't really talked about it. It's been so hard on her to deal with. Natalie meant so much to her and losing her broke something in her. In all of us.

I had such a hard time seeing her in that hospital bed. It wasn't the way I wanted to remember her. Natalie was always alive and full of life and vigor. That's how I want to remember her. Not that shell of a person that was in that bed.

"Ryan," Charlie gripped hard on my arm staring up at me she nods quickly. "I think it's time."

"Oh fuck!" I mutter and look around. Groceries will wait.

Scooping her up into my arms I carry my girl out to the truck. Setting her I climb in and get on the phone.

"Ryan! We're almost done here." Jose tells me as he picks up.

"Great we got a situation here. Charlie's in labor. We're headed to the hospital now. I need someone to bring Pops and Baxter is coming in tonight so he needs to get picked up. Can you guys help out please?" At that Charlie cries out in pain. "Fuck! Hold on baby. I'm almost there."

"Focus on driving man we got this. We'll see you there." Jose assures me and I disconnect to drive.

Once at the hospital it all moved fast. Charlie was taken in to prep her for birth and the nurses swooped in taking me to change. I walked back into the delivery room feeling like an extra large smurf in my blue scrubs. I go to Charlie and sit next to her head. She's ready to go we're just waiting for the doctor now.

"Ryan, I was thinking." Charlie says in between contractions.

"Yeah baby." I smiling shaking on the inside like crazy. Fuck am I ready to be a Dad? Will I be as good as my Dad was? Shit I'm fucking scared.

"Next time you're doing this part! Shit!" She growls out before screaming my name and telling the entire room I'm never to touch her again.

I can't help but laugh out loud and kiss her forehead. She's being such a trooper. It took six hours of some very uncomfortable labor before the baby finally came out. A beautiful healthy baby girl. Ours. Charlie is fucking amazing and I will remember this moment always. Holding my baby girl for the first time and placing her on Charlie's chest.

My girls. My baby girl and wife. This is my world.

"Ryan I want to change her name." Charlie whispers stroking her little soft pink cheek. "I think she should be Natalie Rose."

I swallowed my tears and nodded, Nat would have loved it. "I think it's perfect Char just like her mama and aunt. I love you sweetheart."

Once Charlie and Natalie Rose we're settled in a room for the night the rest of the family joined us. Pops is the only one other than us that held her. When we told them all her name they each cried. It was definitely bittersweet. It was another hour before Baxter got there. He brought Bailey with him since she knows Charlie pretty well too. Walking in with a bouquet of red roses they greet us. Charlie grins for the first time in so long seeing the redhead come in behind Baxter.

"Bailey! I didn't know you were coming!" Char cooed greeting the young lady.

"I wouldn't miss this. I'm so happy for you and Charlie... I'm sorry about everything you went through with your father. I didn't know.... I should have seen it before but... God I'm so sorry." Bailey tried again and again to apologize.

It would seem that Layton and Steven were very good at keeping Charlie and what happened to her a secret. Most all of the employees had no idea Charlie even existed. Bailey was under the impression that Charlie had some disabilities that kept her locked up and close by. She never dreamed it was more. Baxter had gotten quite an education when he got there. It's taken a while to get this much.

Charlie didn't want to go back into the thoughts of the past so she accepted Baileys apology and moved onto happier things like the miracle in her arms. I can only sit at her side with a stupid smile on my face. Any other thoughts are wiped from my mind right now. This is what I'm thinking about now. Kissing her lips again and the top of our angels head I grin. Pictures are taken by everyone in the room it's starting to drive me crazy.

"And who's this beautiful girl?" Baxter asks kissing Charlie's cheek.

"Baxter please meet your niece Natalie Rose." Charlie whispers then looking up to see his face.

He swallowed hard holding back his tears I know he had just like the rest of us. Bailey rubs his back seeing the shudder go through his body. He's still mourning her. We all are. This honors her though. Baxter nods and excuses himself with Bailey quickly at his heels. It's too much.

"Ryan does he know about Sarah?" Charlie asks me. My head snapped down to her and my mouth opens and closes. I don't know what to say. "Don't look at me like that. I'm not stupid. She's pregnant about six months from the look of it. He needs to know."
