Though the years of decade's past have done us both good,
I know that there's a lot of us that we both have of each other.
You can't deny some sort of formal truth.
Maybe you can,
But I know that I cannot.
No matter what I go through,
Who I meet,
Who I love,
There's something that you should know.
I forgive you.
Though you did things to me mentally and broke me down extremely,
I can't hate you.
Sometimes you have to love the things that hurt us.
This thing happens to be you and I'm still recovering, sure,
But
I am becoming more and more whole again.
Though there is some maliciousness in my heart for you, I never wish them upon you.
I know what malice can do,
What hatred can do.
So I won't hate you.
I can't hate you.
I can only hope that it was worth it for you.
To never truly accept the truth and move on.
I know I will be okay, but will you?
