56 - Fire - Seattle

From Northern Ireland, bigla kami nag-teleport ni Blaze sa loob ng kwarto niya sa Seattle. Bigla niyang hinawakan ang kanyang ulo na parang may matinding migraine. Napa-upo siya sa kama dahil para siyang unti unting nanghihina.

"Blaze, are you alright? Anong nararamdaman mo?" nag-aalala ko na tanong sa kanya.

"I feel dizzy and nauseous. I think I am pregnant," seryoso niyang sagot sa akin habang hinahagod ang temples niya.

"Pregnant agad? May ovary and fallopian tube ka ba? Hoy Blaze! Umayos ka nga!"

"I can show you my drop-dead gorgeous body for you to find out, but you have to control yourself, Camilla. I am not strong enough for a rough and savage love making."

Inirapan ko lang si Blaze dahil halata ko sa kanya na nanghihina siya. Willing naman akong pakasalan siya pagdating ng next full moon, kaso mukhang mawawalan siya ng godly powers during this transition period.

"Blaze, nandito tayo sa Seattle. Ang alam ng parents ko ay kasama ko si Reuben Pineda. Baka mag-alala sila."

"Just give me a few minutes. Kakausapin ko ang parents mo---"

Hindi na naituloy ni Blaze ang sasabihin niya dahil bigla na lang siyang nag-collapse sa floor. Buti na lang at biglang dumating si Jaime at mabilis niyang nasalo si Blaze bago tumama ang ulo sa floor.

"Jaime, buti dumating ka agad. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko bubuhatin si Blaze papunta sa kama niya," sabi ko kay Jaime habang buhat niya si Blaze pahiga sa kama.

"I am here to serve my master. Huwag ka mag-alala. He is just sleeping. He is just sleeping. When you both teleported here, his power were almost drained."

"Jaime, ang sabi ni Blaze, ang goddess of wind na si Aliya ay naiwan din dito sa mundo ng mga tao. We need to contact her. Pareho silang nasa panganib ni Blaze."

"I already did. Aliya will be here shortly," sagot ni Jaime sabay turo sa pinto.

Paglabas namin ni Jaime ng kwarto ni Blaze, nandoon na ang isang babae at isang lalaki na nakaupo sa sofa set. May kasama silang isang talking gray parrot na nasa ibabaw ng lampshade.

Jaime introduced me Mizuki Hideki, also known as Aliya, the goddess of air. Kasama niya si Shawn Castelo, ang original god of air and apparently, my brother.

"As you all know by now, the four of you are in danger. The Renegade gods are probably searching for you right now," panimula ni Jaime.

Ipinaliwanag niya sa amin ni Jaime na maaring gamitin ng mga Renegade gods ang souls naming apat para pakawalan ang vicious creatures sa The Void. Habang nalalapit ang full moon, mas lalong humihina ang kapangyarihan ni Blaze at Aliya.

"Fighting these Renegade gods is not an option. We may be immortal gods, pero wala tayong laban sa kanila lalo na sa mga susunod na araw," sabi ni Aliya.

"Aliya is right. You will soon lose your godly powers. Once you face these Renegade gods, you are good as dead," dagdag ni Jaime.

"Any suggestions, Dwayne Johnson?" tanong ni Shawn kay Jaime.

"All of you can hide for the meantime. Sa isang lugar na hindi kayo mahahanap ng mga Renegade gods. In the Old City,"

"Jaime, that is not possible. Sabi ni Blaze, sarado ang gateway papasok sa Old City. Unless may alam ka na ibang daan papunta doon?"

"There is a secret passage in the Underworld from this world to the Old City. Hindi ko alam kung paano pumunta sa Underworld. All I know is that there is another passageway to the Old City."

"Not gonna happen, Jaimeel," sabi ni Blaze na nakatayo na pala sa di kalayuan.

"Boss, Old City is our only safe haven. There is no spell in this world that can conceal you from the presence of the Renegade gods."

"We are not even sure if these Renegade gods are our enemies. What if the Reaper King is our enemy? What if some Rogue Reapers are after our souls?"

"Boss, it would be nice if that is the case. Zaius is a primordial god, the all-powerful Zeon can take care of him. Kung Rogue Reapers naman, they are least of your problems. They are weaklings compare to you and Aliya, but we are talking about these legendary Renegade gods. Their strength is coming from the wickedness of this world."

"Sorry, Jaimeel. Underworld is a no no. There must other options," sabi ni Blaze na umupo sa tabi ko.

"You are the boss, Arthos. If you change your mind, let me know. I will prepare an aircraft that will take us to the Underworld," sagot ni Jaimeel na biglang naglaho. Kahit ang parrot na tinatawag ni Aliya na Mr. Gray ay naglaho din kasama ni Jaimeel.

"Airplane ang sasakyan natin papuntang Underworld?" tanong ko kay Blaze.

"It is believed that there is a portal in Algerian desert to the Underworld that is hidden in human eyes. Only me and Aliya can see it. What are you thinking? Balak mo din pumunta sa Underworld? Are you kidding me? Underworld will eat us alive. Aliya, can you tell this lady how dangerous Underworld is," utos ni Blaze habang nakataas ang kilay.

"I am afraid we do not have a choice, Arthos. Wala tayong kalaban laban sa mga Renegade gods. Si Mr. Grey nga lang ang tumulong sa amin ni Shawn para makarating dito. Hindi ko na kaya gumawa ng mga portals para makapag-teleport."

"Are you siding with my servant's idea? Tingin mo ba mas safe ang mga nilalang sa Underworld kaysa sa mga Renegade gods? You are out of your mind, Aliya."

"Arthos, hindi ko alam ang pwede mangyari sa atin sa Underworld, pero kung mananatili tayo dito, madali nila tayo mahahanap. Those beings can easily kills us! Gusto mo ba mamatay?"

"Aliya, I have read several scrolls regarding the Underworld. We can only travel freely in the Underworld with the permission of the Reaper King. Without his consent, his minions can kill us in our current condition!"

"Shawn's father is the Reaper King himself. Pwede natin siya kausapin. We can ask for his permission to use the Underworld passage!"

"Go ahead, Aliya. Call your future father-in-law! Let me know if he already rejected your preposterous idea!" inis na sabi ni Blaze sabay walk out sa living room.
