36 - Fire - Reuben

Camilla Villarosa. The only human being who can drive me crazy. It is like I caught a deadly virus with a touch of a voodoo curse.

A rare mental disorder with no possible cure...

Ever since I met Camilla in my club, my mind is filled with images of her. I think about her all the time to the point that I stare blankly for hours and just imagine her pretty face.

Every fucking thing reminds me of Camilla and I can't do anything about it!

I asked her for a dinner date, pero ilang oras na ang nakakalipas ay wala pa rin si Camilla Villarosa. I have been waiting for more than an hour and this is the first time my patience was put into a test.

"Boss, I found her," sabi ni Jaime sabay bigay sa akin ng tablet.

Jaime or Jaimeel is my right hand and a loyal servant. Every elemental god has an immortal servant that serves as our constant guidance and companion.

I don't know much about Jaimeel. I think he is older than me. When I tried to ask him about his history, wala din daw siya alam. He thinks he was created to serve me.

"It looks like she is having a good time with her date," nakangisi na sabi ni Jaime.

Ipinakita niya sa akin ang mga pictures ni Camilla na nasa loob ng isang Italian restaurant. May kasama siyang isang lalaki na mukhang ka-date niya.

"Who is this low-life mortal?" tanong ko sabay turo sa kasama ni Camilla.

"Reuben Pineda. He is an heir to a real estate empire. He is a multi-millionaire at the age of twenty---"

"Who the fuck is this Reuben Pineda in Camilla's life? Is he the boyfriend?"

"He is courting Camilla for a year now. Just so you know, Camilla's grandfather and Reuben's grandfather are good friends. If you ask me, a grand wedding is likely to happen after Camilla's graduation," mapang-asar niyang sabi sa akin.

"Jaime, do you want me to reduce you into ashes?" galit kong tanong sa kanya.

Humalakhak lang si Jaime na parang natutuwa sa frustrations ko. He may be a servant, but Jaime became a friend of mine. He looks like a muscular bouncer, but his true form is much scarier.

"Calm down, boss. I don't want to experience any volcanic eruption any time soon," nakangiti niyang sagot sa akin.

Reuben Pineda makes my blood boil and I want to incinerate him at this very moment. Kasama niya ngayon si Camilla when it should be me who is with her right now.

I waited for Camilla for hours, pero mas pinili niya ang lalaking ito? She is literally playing with fire!

I gave the tablet back to Jaime and within seconds, naglalakad na ko papasok ng Italian restaurant kung saan nandoon si Camilla at Reuben. They look like they are both enjoying their conversation.

A conversation which is I am about to ruin...

"Blaze?What are you doing here? Paano mo nalaman na nandito ko?" gulat na tanong ni Camilla nang lumapit ako sa kanya.

Kahit si Reuben ay hindi inaasahan ang pagdating ko sa restaurant. I think he knows me as I am quite famous, lalo na sa business circle.

"Camilla, are you really asking me that? I already put my personal GPS inside of you, I can trace you anywhere."

"Personal GPS? What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Come on, Camilla. Do you really want to disclose erotic and sensual matters in front of Reuben Pineda? Dapat sa loob lang ng kwarto mo or sa loob ng kwarto ko pinag-uusapan ang mga bagay na 'yan."

"What the fuck, Blaze! Bakit ka ba nandito?"

"I am here because of you, Amore. Now, why don't you bid your goodbye to your friend and come with me peacefully," nakangiti kong sagot sa kanya.

Camilla looks confused dahil hindi niya alam na darating ako dito at magkikita kami ng kanyang suitor. She is looking at Reuben with apologetic eyes.

"I didn't know that you are friends with Blaze Azevedo. Is he your boyfriend?" tanong ni Reuben.

"Reu, Blaze is just my Physics Professor---"

"And her partner in bed," mabilis kong sagot which made her gasp.

Even Reuben looks astonished with my admission. Hindi niya siguro inaasahan ang sasabihin ko. Camilla has no boyfriend since birth. Pinalaki ng isang marangal na babae ng mga Villarosa. I just made an outright confession that we both have an intimate relationship.

"Blaze! Ano ba ang sinasabi mo?" inis na tanong sa akin ni Camilla.

"You already wasted so much of my time. Game over, Amore. Let us go," sagot sabay hila sa kamay niya palabas ng restaurant.

"Blaze, stop dragging me! Si Reuben ang kasama ko!"

"Two minutes, Camilla. That is all I can give you. I am not in the mood to argue with you right now. It is either you will say goodbye to that Cro-Magnon or I will burn him alive!"

Tumalikod si Camilla sa akin at bumalik kay Reuben. All I can see is anger in her eyes right now.

I don't think this girl will marry me anytime soon...
