Hunting the Creator

Chapter 2 Finally Awake

Furo takes in his surrounding, he didn't know how the story will unfold now that an un-activated character which was supposed to never be shown at all, only in the beginning, was now awake. He had only been mentioned when they showed the memories of Mina, talking about her little brother, to Roma.

They had even shown a memory of the two during the younger years, way before Furo went into a coma, it was a memory with Furo and their then dog, mud wrestling during a rainy day. The mother and father laughing and taking video of Mina giggling as she ran around them in joy. The day had been ruined as the next moment, their dog had run out suddenly onto the street, being hit and beginning character building for Mina who had soon fought her tears when the next day Furo suffered from a high fever due to being out in the cold and adding to the stress of their dog passing away. Of course it didn't amount the character development when the accident happen.

This was a problem, but then again he wasn't going to follow the plot like usual, he was free now, not chained down by the Slave System to do and act like the characters. He looked down at his arms and saw sickly pale skin, not to mention the bones from the nutrition they would give him through the tube that was connected to his arms.

The beeping to his heart monitor was getting on his nerves so he looked at the control that was inside his hand and clicked the aid button with much difficulty. His body hadn't moved in some time already.

'What's the timeline?' Furo thought as he was able to painfully bend and unbend his index finger. Soon after the system appeared.

[The story right now should be when the admirer finds out about Furo's big sister having mutual feelings for Roma, she should be trying to find out any weaknesses from Mina.] The system replied dutifully as it soon goes away when he was dismissed.

A young nurse was laughing as she munched on her salad, she was in charge of taking care of patient A18. Which was a little boy who was in a coma, nothing big, in fact it made her a little sad that the boy isn't able to live his life.

"Have you checked on Furo?" A veteran nurse popped up as she showed up for the beginning of her shift.

"Not yet, I just cleaned him up this morning miss Banna." The newbie sat straight as she closed the salad container, she had only been here for a week so far, she didn't want to look like she was slacking, even though she was.

"Alright, well your shift is almost done in a bit, make sure to clean up your station and place everything where it-" Before Banna could even finish her sentence a yellow bulb came on, making her face pale and her blood run cold In shock.

Furo's aid button turned on.

"Get the doctors now!" Banna said as she began running, soon others ran along side her in shock and surprise.

Furo's thoughts were cut off by multiple feet heading his way and bursting through the door. Looking towards the opened door he saw two doctors and multiple nurses panting at him with wide eyes.

Seeing as he needs to get into character, even if he didn't know how the little brother should act, he invented one, which would be the obvious reaction of a seventeen year old boy would have, when being in a coma for ten years.

He cried.

"Now now, don't cry sweet heart! You're alright, you're safe, how do you feel?" A nurse quickly came to his side, but didn't come too close as to not startled Furo further.
