Chapter Sixty Five: Preparations
Cade
***

In the weeks that passed since her nieces birth my future mother in law had essentially moved into the pack house and she alongside my mate and cousin went all in on wedding planning.

I did my absoulte best to pick up anything they needed from the various stores in the city, sometimes it included fabric flowers, or food samples, but today I was asked to go find the suits for my groomsmen.

I knew neither my friends nor I cared what we wore but for Daisy I'd make sure every button on the shrits was perfectly to her liking.

"Now remember My Love nothing crazy please...just classic tuxedos and if you need anything just call me."

"Or you could come with me." I sounded before kissing her.

"Don't tempt me, I have to go and make final decisions on the linens and lighting."

"So try not to need her." Blithe sounded before grabbing my mates hand and ushering her out the door.

I shook my head, and since Ieston was already here we went to pick up Wren, and Daisy had previosly called Theo to meet us there.

Daisy had decided to have her sister Anise as her Matron of honor and then Blithe as a bridesmaid, and Cora would act as flower girl...Ieston and Theo have always been my best friends so instead of choosing between the both of them, I just called them both groomsmen. Then since we were having Cora in the wedding we also wanted Wren to join in...Robbie was too small.

Once Wren was in the car we went into town and met up with Theo, I was worried about all sorts of details I knew they'd ask me about...long tails, more relaxed fit, fitted tux, and shoes, what kind of shoes would my bride want?

I walked in and tried to play cool as I knew the guys were following my lead, thankfully the man in the store approached us.

"Alpha Cade, I've just spoken to Beta Wells."

I knew I was with Ieston so of course he would have been talking about my cousin.

I can show you the tuxedo options and she's essential told me everything else."

"Did my cousin pick out the shoes and socks also?" I teased.

He smiled, "Shoes yes, socks she said you could choose."

Ieston smiled, "Sounds about right."

We got into the tuxedos soon enough and after I was all done up to the nines I looked over at Wren. He was holding the bowtie and just looking at it. I smirked and moved over to him.

"Need some help bud?"

He smirked, "Never worn a suit like this before."

I nodded, "here let me show you." I stepped behind him and we both looked at the reflection in the mirror as I talked him through everything I was doing. "And there...perfect."

"Thanks." He smirked.

Ieston was talking to Theo and this gave Wren and I moment to talk.

"Hey I'm glad we could have this moment man."

He nodded.

"I haven't gotten the chance to thank you for being one of my groomsmen." I said.

"It's nothing."

"It is something to Daisy and I...it really means a lot to the both of us." I sounded.

He shrugged now, his hands in my pockets, "Well you're welcome then."
