Chapter Fifty Nine: Preparations
Daisy
***

In the days after having my meeting with Cade things seemed to be much more smooth as I had gotten a lot off my chest that evening.

But in the sense that I could breath a little easier knowing I had done my part to help begin repairing the pack that I would be Luna of soon... I couldn't help but feel guilty that I had chosen not to tell Cade about the fact that Ieston had seeked me out for help.

"Any plans for today?" Cade said as I stood in front of him.

I had finished helping him with his tie and he smiled down at me before giving me a light peck on the lips, the kiss lingered and I smiled even brighter.

I shook my head, "to be honest I'm probably just gonna call and check in on my sister maybe go to the grocery store too."

"Call Theo if you need to go anywhere."

I rolled my eyes at my newly appointed babysitter.

Don't get me wrong Theo is a great guy, nice and pretty chill...but I hated that I had to be handled or guarded now. But I also knew my Mate means well.

"I promise if I go anywhere I'll call Theo, but You don't worry about me." I offered him before one more kiss goodbye "Just focus on having a good day at work." He smiled and after that took off, I was left alone to get ready for the day.

I really didn't have anything planned for the day and found myself walking around our bedroom before I drew back the curtains to let in the light from the day. I made our bed, and went into our closet to find an outfit and decided to have a shower. But before I could even find a decent outfit the doorbell rung.

I went downstairs half expecting to find Theo, and I was hoping that by seeing me in my fleece pajama bottoms and Cade's t-shirt he'd decide to just leave.

While I'm a fully grown she-wolf Cade was still uncomfortable knowing I was wandering around town by myself with other men...at least with Theo he knows he can trust him.

But when I reached the door I was surprised to see Blithe.

In my defense I hadn't seen or spoken to Blithe since Cade asked her to Beta...even more so, I haven't seen or spoken to Blithe since I had spoken with Ieston.

"Hey Daisy, Can we talk?"

"Of course." I said as I moved so she could enter the house. "Sorry I was just getting ready for the day, so I know I look a mess." I said more than a little self consciously now as she stood there looking magnificent in her lovely dress and heels.

"Oh please, you're fine Hun...truth be told I'm a complete mess." Daisy admitted sadly as she took a seat on the sofa.

"C-Can I get you something." I asked nervously...I wondered if Ieston had mentioned our talk. "I'm sure we still have coffee and Cade made breakfast."

My wolf whined, 'Tell Cade about Ieston.'

I nodded slightly in agreement, I knew If I told Cade the truth He'd listen to me, and more so I wouldn't be so nervous at the thought of Ieston.

"No I'm fine...I just really need some advice."

"If this has anything to do with Ieston maybe I'm not the best person to talk to." I said a little uncomfortably once again...I felt like their whole drama stemmed around me in some form or another and I couldn't help but feel guilty.

"You're the only perosn who can help me with this."

I shook my head, "I'm sure Cade would be better..."
