Chapter 34: Long Distance Ask To Prom

Amber's POV

"So wanna come over to my house later?" Maddie asked closing her locker.

"Sure" I flatly answered looking at the floor.

"You have to stop missing Cameron, Amber" she stated while we were walking over to seventh period, History.

"It's not that. Well of course I miss him but it's not that" I replied.

"Well then what is it?" she asked.

"Nothing important. Just thinking about college applications. That's all" I said and smiled.

"You're a nerd, sweetie! You'll get into whatever school you want!"

"Mhm" I said sitting down.

"Maddie! Amber! Wait up!" Tyler yelled running towards us while we walked to my car.

"How the? What?" I chuckled looking at his face that was covered un makeup.

"Oh it was Jake. He pulled a prank on me while I slept during Math" he laughed and so did I. Maddie didn't though. It was probably because he mentioned Jake. Things between them ended pretty badly.

"Well we have to go" I said getting into my car, Maddie following.

"Ok bye sweeties" he answered throwing a kiss. I swear, I sometimes think this kid is gay.

"Sorry about that" I told Maddie after I started driving.

"I know" she smiled and started to text someone.

"Who you texting?" I asked pulling into Maddie's driveway.

"Nash" she giggled.

"Oh young love" I teased and pinched her cheeks.

"Hey Maddie. Oh Amber sweetie you look so nice" Maddie's Mom, Elisa, greeted.

"Thanks" I replied.

"We're gonna be in my room" Maddie stated.

"Oh but Joey's here! You remember your brother?" her Mom joked.

"If only I could forget" Maddie replied.

"Nice to see you too sis" he said walking by her and getting something from the fridge.

"Oh hey! Amber right?" he asked noticing I was there.

"Yep" I replied.

"Who's the pretty girl?" A voice asked from behind me making me turn around.

"Amber. And she's taken. So bye" Maddie said pulling me towards her room.

I glanced one last time at the stranger. He had short brown hair, brown eyes, he wasn't as tan as Joey, but not too white either and he had a killer smile. He wasn't too tall but also not too short.

"Who is he?" I wondered once Maddie and I reached her bedroom.

"He's Ricky. He and Joey are like brother's. They're like Nash and Cameron. Inseperable" she informed me.

(In this fanfic, Ricky resembles Dylan O'Brien. Okay bye)

"Speaking about Cameron. He just texted me" I smiled and opened the text.

-Hey babe I just posted an update video of our condo. Just wanted to let you know so you can check out where you're going to be living after you graduate. I love you.

To: Him♡

-I'm gonna watch it rn. Love you babe.

"Let's watch Cam's video of the condo" I said taking Maddie laptop and putting it on the bed.

After we watched the video I couldn't help but falling in love with the place. It was just so adorable.

"Oh look! He posted another one" she said and I played the video.

"Hey guys!" Cameron began, "This isn't a usual video like te ones I normally do. This video is more special than that. So you guys know I'm dating Amber. Some of you ship us and some of you don't" he stoped and made a püma face just cause, "Well she's moving in with me after her senior year of high school, which is this year. You all know what that means? Prom bitches!" he yelled making a weird face and ran his fingers through his hair, "So Amber, will you go to prom with me?" he said holding a out a poster that read:

'Prom?'

I jumped up from my bed and started to jump in excitement. I know, stupid right?

"Oh I gotta call him" I remebered and dialed his phone number. Yes, I did memorize it.

"So uh did you watch the video?" he asked.

"Both actually" I smiled.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. And my answer is no" I joked.

"Really?" he said his voice breaking.

"Oh babe! Don't get sad! I was just kidding. I'm so sorry" I chuckled.

"DONT YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN OKAY?" he yelled and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Okay. Okay. Calm down. The video was amazing. Thank you"

"Glad you liked it poo bear" he replied.

"Poo bear?" I chuckled.

"STOP ITS CUTE" he pouted which made me laugh even more.
