Amber's POV

"Hey Amber! Wait up!" I heard a voice call from behind me and so I turned around and saw Madilyn. My closest friend here at Cali High.

"Hey Maddie" I answered while giving her a big hug. Maddie's my nickname for her.

After we talked about everything from shoes to boys (I especially talked about Cam) we headed to 7th period. History.

We sat in the middle of the classroom while Maddie's boyfriend, Jake, the co-captain of the soccer team sat down next to her.

"Good afternoon class" Mrs. Kent, the history teacher, greeted. She wore too much eye makeup and bronzer. Once, I almost gave her makeup advice but I didn't want to make her feel bad. She's really emotional.

After what seemed like forever, the school day was over! And better yet, it's Friday!

After I said bye to Maddie and Jake, I headed to my car. Someone was leaning against it and I couldn't help but smile when I say who it was.

"Cameron!" I said whike nearly tackling him.

"Hey sweetheart" he replied. I immediately blushed at his choice of words.

"Weren't you supposed to pick me up at six?" I asked. He's supposed to pick me up at six for our first date.

"Change of plans. I had a better idea." I gave him a confused look. "Yeah, and it's a surprise" he quickly said before I could ask where he was taking me.

"Okay. But you're driving." I gave him the cars keys.

"Anything for you." he replied while giving me a slow kiss on the cheek. I blushed a bit and smiled.

Cameron's POV

"Here" I said while giving Amber one of Taylor's bandanas.

"Really?"

"Yes really. Now put it on" she quickly put the bandana on.

"Okay babe, hope you like it" I said while taking the bandana off so Amber could see what I had planned out for her.

Amber's POV

I couldn't help but smile.

"Oh my goodness Cameron. This is amazing. I've always wanted a picnic on the beach. And you brought Doritos!" I exagerated the word doritos. Cameron laughed a bit. What can I say? I love food.

"Yeah I know. I called your friend Stacy from Chicago for help and she told me that you've always wanted a picnic on the beach" Cameron said while he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer.

"You're amazing. You know that right?" I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Yeah. But it sounds better when you say it" he replied. Our lips touched. I deepend the kiss while they moved in perfect sync.

After pulling away, we sat down on the blanket. Cameron opened the basket putting all of the food on display. Good thing this beach wasn't too windy. He also brought a miny radio. The first song I heard was Classic by MKTO. It's such an amazing song. I couldn't help but sing along to it and so did Cameron. Well, at least the lyrics he had memorized. The next song that played was All of me by John Legend.

"May I have this dance?" Cameron asked while reaching for my hand.

"How could I say no?" I replied. Our hands interwined.

Cameron wrapped his hands around my waist and I put mine on his neck lightly. Our eyes instantly met.

"You're beautiful" he said as I felt the butterflies attacking my stomach. As I blushed, I felt a pair of lips kissing my forehead slowly and Cameron's hand pulled me closer to him.

He grabbed my hand and spun me twice.

"You've got some moves there handsome" I said surprised.

"Thanks. You're pretty good yourself" he replied.

He started to lean towards me and our lips crashed. It's surprising how in sync our lips are. I deepend the kiss but ended it before things got more intense.

After, we ate and talked about silly and serious things. Out of nowhere he picked me up bridal style and walked towards the ocean.

"Don't you dare Cameron!" I stated while he gave me a smile.

"Admit it. You want me to throw you in the water. You're just in denial." he replied.

"Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night hot stuff" I giggled a bit. Next thing I knew I was underwater.

When I went to the surface for air, I saw Cameron. His white tshirt was wet and his abs were now on display. But hey, I wasn't complaining.

"Dork!" I said while splashing water at him.

"I guess that makes me your dork," he said as his right hand stroked my left cheek and the other on my lower back. He leaned in, completely looking at my eyes instead of my lips. Which made me even more flustered than I already was. His lips formed a small smirk before connecting with mine.

After we dried off, we got into the car and headed home.

Cameron and I were now standing on the porch. We said goodnight and kissed one last time before I went into my house.

My heart filled with happiness when I saw who was sitting on the couch.
