Night Fall | Sweet Pea (completed)

Chapter Eight.

"Did I just hear you correctly? Did you just say... baby?!" Toni exclaimed, shock was clearly evident on her face and frankly I couldn't blame her I only just got over the shock myself.

"Uhhh...." Sweet Pea and I both looked between each other scared before I shrugged my shoulders.

"Surprise?" I asked quietly. There was a moment of silence between the three of us before Toni squealed in excitement making me jump.

"And you didn't tell me?!" Toni yelled out before rushing over and hugging us both.

"We were waiting until the nine week mark where everything was all clear... which is in two weeks" I looked down at my hands instantly regretting not having told Toni about this all sooner.

"I am so unbelievably happy for you both, even though you're both so young you graduate in a few months and you two really are soulmates, why not kick start life now right?" Toni said making me tear up as I got up and wrapped my arms around her, I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face.

"Okay Sweet Pea get it we need girl time!" Before he could protest Toni was pushing him out of the loungeroom before she grabbed my hand and sat on the lounge next too me. "I want every single detail! Alright maybe not every single detail but I want to know it all, when did this happen? how are you feeling? didn't you ever learn about protection?" 

I cracked up laughing at the last one as I heard Sweet Pea's voice shout from the dining room "Excuse me of course we did but these things just happen! We can't all be lesbian and not have to worry about this happening T!" 

"Oh very funny Pea!" Toni laughed back before she shook her head and mumbled "How do you live with him girl?" 

"He's not thaaattt bad, at least not when his mouth is shut anyway" I jokingly replied before sitting back and talking all things relationships and all things babies with my best friend. 

I didn't realise how little girl time I had had recently, after Sweet Pea and I found out about the pregnancy we had been even more inseparable than ever before. 

As I sat talking about all my stresses with Toni I heard a knock on the door before someone opened it and walked straight through to the dining room:

"AYE PEA! I hear you're a baby daddy now, congrats man!" Fangs exclaimed as he gave Sweet Pea a bro hug before walking into the loungeroom and giving me a gentle squeeze of a hug. Usually Fangs picks me up and spins me around but I could tell he didn't want to do any harm to the baby.

"Fangs how did you even hear about that?" I asked as Sweet Pea came into view

"I messaged him whilst you and Toni were having girl time. I love you both but damn I needed another lad in this household there was too much girliness in the air" I shook my head smiling as he walked over and gave me a small kiss on the lips "Mind if we join you girls now? We want to play the PS4."

Turning towards Toni I saw her shrug her shoulders as I just smiled and shuffled over so Sweet Pea could sit next to me.

"I'm offended I wasn't the first person to know about my little niece/nephew. Regardless of that who else knows?" Fangs asked as he set up FIFA 19 and handed the extra remote too Sweet Pea.

"We're so sorry Fangs, our plan was to tell both you and Toni in two weeks time once we got the all-clear from the doctors but my morning sickness apparently had other plans." I stated as Sweet Pea put his arm around my shoulder making me smile instantly. 

"Gee you two your cuteness makes me smile but also makes me want to gag." Fangs stated as he fake gagged making the four of us crack up laughing. 

"Naawww Fangsy is there no special person in your life right now?" I asked him teasingly.

"Nope I'm just too fabulous  to love I suppose." I couldn't help but laugh when I was with these three because they really were like the three amigos, they really complimented each other in every possible aspect.

"What about you T? How's everything with Cheryl Bombshell?" I struggled quite a bit asking Toni this as I wasn't the biggest fan of Cheryl's attitude but I knew how much Toni was into her so I made the effort just like she always does for me.

"Okay the guys are about to officially see me as a teenage girl but honestly I'm so into her. She's like no other. The only downside, okay well the second downside besides the fact she's a Northsider is that I don't even know if she's into girls, I mean hello yes I'm hot as hell but I can't tell who she's into." 

"T I can guarantee you that she's into you. She looks at you the way I look at Dani, I say just go for it, who cares if you come across too strong we only have one life." Sweet Pea stated as he paused the game to get up and give Toni a hug, noticing the tears in her eyes I moved over and hugged her too.

"Well I'm not missing out let me in!" Fangs exclaimed as he dived up and onto Sweet Pea's back.

"I love you guys so much." I smiled as I got teary once again.

A chorus of "I love you too's" came out of Sweet Pea, Fangs and Toni's mouth before everyone finally broke apart and resumed their normal positions. Toni got up and stole the controlled from Fangs as I stretched out and rested my head on Sweet Pea's lap, I couldn't help but smile as I looked over at my best friend's mucking around playing video games and playfully arguing with each other. I rested my hand on my stomach where I knew our little bump was growing and smiled contently with the life we were granted.
