Chapter Thirty-Five

"Hi everyone" I heard a familiar voice say behind me and I instantly turned then froze up seeing Miranda and Shayna. They looked around the room them froze at me before I quietly turned away grabbing the barbecue chicken and putting it back in the oven silent.

"Ex-friends right?" Eve asked beside me and I nodded shrugging. I had no issue with them anymore, I messed up, I apologized and now I was focused on the future. Of course I missed them but, I rather keep my distance. Today wasn't about me, it was about my love and I wasn't really surprised they came since the rest of the gang was coming for his celebration.

"Now I definitely got to stay on your ass. They come in here on some shit, I'm kicking them the fuck out. No one's messing with my daughter in law" she snapped making me laugh shaking my head.

"There will be no drama tonight, we are all here to celebrate Harry and that's all there will Eve-" "Well just in case... I'll be ready. Mama doesn't play when it comes to her cubs" "What's going on?" I heard behind me making me turn to see him there eyeing both of us suspiciously. I looked at Eve as she shrugged smiling.

"Nothing, and hopefully that's how it stays. I'm watching those two friends of yours" Eve simply stated as Harry looked behind him then back to me smiling shaking his head. I couldn't help but return the smile looking down.

"I spoke to them as soon as they came inside, they just wanted to make amends. They miss you... they miss us" he stated walking closer to me. "There are no hard feelings, I'm over it but you need to explain that to Tyson beside me, she's ready to jump" I muttered as he busted out laughing Eve poked my side making me squeal laughing.

Harry pulled me into his arms kissing my head as he held me against him "As long as you're good, I'm good" he whispered making me nod resting my head on his chest taking a deep breath. "I'm good" I whispered looking up to him smiling as I got on my toes.

He smiled leaning down to press his lips to mine quickly. "Love you" "Love you more" I whispered making his laugh shaking his head "Impossible"

"Renny" I heard someone called behind Harry only to see Jesus smiling right behind him. I smiled hurrying over to hug him, definitely been forever since I've seen him. I missed them all but he was definelty one of my faves. Like a little brother. 

He let me go looking down at me then at Harry smiling. "You sneaky fucks, I should have known you two..." he smiled shaking his head making me giggle shrugging. "The way you two acted around each other... the little flirting and hanging out... We were so blind to everything but, I'm happy for you two. If there were two people I can put together in our group it would be you two anyway" he laughed and we joined him.

Harry pulled me closer to his body as I smiled into the embrace nodding. "Thank you... it really means a lot to us Jesus" Harry stated an I nodded agreeing. "Now that everything is out in the open, let's just go back to hanging out all of us" he smiled and I nodded in silence.

I wasn't sure when if it would happen but, I didn't want to say no. I didn't want to seem like the negative one but, I wasn't sure if we would just be able to hang out again unless there was a talk and stuff. I didn't know if that would even happen.

"We'll have to see on that Jesus, some haven't really been as welcoming as you. I can't agree to anything that's going to hurt her in any way. We can hang out with you but, well have to hold on with seeing everyone until I know for sure, everything is good. One of the reasons I wanted everyone to come tonight" he stated tightening his grip on me.

I looked up to his face looking serious then I looked back at Jesus agreeing. "They should get over it then, you two are together and happy end of discussion... Speaking of the devil..." he joked as Shay and Miranda walked over smiling.
