Chapter Twenty Seven

Few Weeks Later

"5,6,7,8" the dance instructor called out and all the girls did the routine. I couldn't help but smile watching Gabby and Lexi do the routine next to each other flawlessly. They always practiced and they made sure they would be the best ones on the stage. 

"Can't help but love them at this age, now it's when they get into high school they are the problem" Eve joked next to me making me laugh. I mean, she wasn't wrong with that statement. High school was my peak for crazy antics. Hopefully, I won't have to deal with that with her.

"She must have your dancing skills, Harry got his fathers" "He's pretty good" I said laughing as she shook her head rolling her eyes. "If you call grinding against you good" she shrugged smirking as I rolled my eyes not commenting on that. Hey when we danced he could keep up with the beat and me, he wasn't bad at all.

"So, you finally gave in?" She asked sounding amused but I didn't look over to see the smirk, I knew was on her face. She said it was going to happen and guess what? It did.

I looked down trying to hide my smiled but, I couldn't help it. I have happier than I've ever been. "Well it's kind of hard not to fall for him, he's just that amazing" "About time..." she muttered making me laugh biting my lip.

"I wasn't ready back then but, I think I am now?" "Think?" I looked over to her watching me "This is kind of new to me. I feel I'm ready but, just a bit nervous. But nothing has changed and I'm so happy for that. It feels pretty much the same but now, it's official" I smiled and she returned it nodding.

"That's how it should be mi hija" I sighed nodding "I love him, always have but, I just needed to be ready for that step. You know? I don't see myself with anyone but him. He's perfect man and amazing father. I don't want to lose over my own stupidity and fears" I admitted and it fell silent between us for a bit before she spoke up again.

"I thought Amber would be the last straw for you" "He told you?" "I beat it out of him with a broom. I knew he did something stupid by the way you two were acting together." I sighed shrugging. Wasn't something I wanted to really talk about, not at this moment.

"It was before me-" "Doesn't mean he sticks his dick anywhere without a condom. Idiot" she growled out rolling her eyes and shaking her head. I didn't respond just watching them dance.

"You're honestly okay with that?" "I can't really be mad, he didn't cheat. They were together while we were getting back on good terms-" "That doesn't mean you can't be upset" she quickly said and I just shrugged.

Yeah it kind of stung but, he wasn't really in the wrong besides not using a condom. Therefore I would sit this out but, have his back through this. That's all I could do at the moment. But, was it weird that I spent time thinking about Amber? Just wondering how she was and if he was supporting her the way she needed through this time?

He told me that they called and met up every few days just to make sure she was okay and to see if there was anything she needed. So far he said she was fine but, was he sure of that?

"Daddy" Gabby cheered jumping off of my back and running right into him as I giggled sitting up on the couch as he walked over with her in his arms. He sat down wrapping one arm around me bring me closer to him. I just giggled pressing my lips to his quickly then rested my head on his shoulder.

He kissed my head "How was dance princess?" "Mommy and Nana came to see me. Then Nana made some food at her house and I had a brownie " she smiled making us laugh at her excitement.
