Steve looked to the door behind which he knew his sister was cowering in fear and dread. "We have to help her, Buck."

"I know," Bucky replied, running a hand restlessly through hair. "but I don't think we'll be much good for her right now."

"Why not?"

"Most HYDRA agents that handle us were male," Bucky answered. "If she too far gone back into her head right now...."

"She won't recognize us as safe."

Bucky nodded sadly, casting a torn look at the door. He wanted to hold and comfort Grace so badly, yet he knew that all she would see if he walked into the room was HYDRA's Fist, coming to take her back.

"What about Pepper? or Nat?" Steve asked. "They seem close."

Bucky shook his head. "She might still see them as a threat if she doesn't recognize them."

"Let me help her." A voice sounded from behind them. The super-soldiers turn to find Wanda there. "Let me get into her mind and calm her down. Bring her back from her memories."

"Can you do that?" Bucky asked frowning.

Wanda's fingers twisted nervously but her voice was steady. "Yes, I think so."

"Do it," Steve answered. "Please, help her."

A small smile pulled at the corners of her lips. "I'll do my best."
