Anxiety, anxiety trapped inside of me
Anxiety, anxiety hiding me.
Emotions that grow as the panic rises.
Trying to remain calm, and trying to not let a soul know.
Walking away from situations just to breath anxiety has a hand on me.
Slowly I pull away, and put on a brave face. Anxiety, dear anxiety, you can't control me I must be stronger than the shakes, and fast heart beats.
Anxiety, anxiety I won't keep letting you hide me. I tell myself I am more than capable of doing anything.
Anxiety, anxiety you can't control me.
I'll take these shaking hands, and take deep breaths.
Anxiety, anxiety you won't stop me from succeeding.
