When life feels out of control
She takes back the pen and writes
Sometimes there seems to be no words to describe the pain
But somehow she finds a way
Anxiety and shakes
She's writing
A mind on a wild ride
Overthinking
Hyperventilating
Her heart feels electrified
Tears from her cloudy brown eyes
She writes
Becoming in control of the pain with every sweep of a pen
Every broken heart
Every unheard truth
She writes
She finds her control within poetry
