My heart is shattered.
I thought they cared when I was just a pass time.
Another came along and I am now nothing,
not even the floor mat under their feet.
That's why I chose today to love me.
I am a flaw being at best,
but I give all the love inside me,
but no one wants to share any with me.
I love so easily and it leaves me broken every time, but this time I'm loving me.
One day the stars will bring me a galaxy,
but not today as I sit pondering all things that weigh heavily on my heart.
Yet, still I will smile, laugh and dance
because that is me.
I'll still give my love easily.
If only someone could love me the same.
