You never gave me the chance to love you. You never gave me the chance to show you I could be your everything.
You never gave me the chance to heal your broken heart.
But I never gave you the chance to love me.
I never fought for you.
I thought that the universe would never let you slip away once she placed you in my reach
but I was wrong.
Yet, I wasn't the only problem in our story you were too.
We never fought for each other. That's why we slipped away. That's why we never lasted past winter.
That's why we are still frozen as summer welcomes the earth because you never gave me the chance nor did I give a chance to you.
Our story can't be changed,
but I can be as I realize all the faults in the storyline.
This next story of romance won't follow the same lines.
Times have changed.
